Manolito Flores hit a great freekick 2 minutes into the match. S.E. Cachoeirinha were furious when Gustavo Ramos was red carded, 5 minutes into the game, but the referee dismissed their protests. The supporters of F.C. AMERICAN BARÇA booed when S.E. Cachoeirinha was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 14 match minutes in a wonderful position. Nando Moreno didn't get a good kick on the ball. In the 18th minute, Fabinho Vinhas made a precise shot to the right of Ramón Quiroga. F.C. AMERICAN BARÇA's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 1-1. In the 26th minute Nando Moreno shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Ramón Quiroga saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. After having played for 29 minutes, César Nafría managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. F.C. AMERICAN BARÇA's supporters crossed their fingers, but César Nafría was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Ismael de Carvalho took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Manolito Flores, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Nando Moreno sent away a hard shot on goal in the 38th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. After 40 played minutes S.E. Cachoeirinha got a freekick which was hit by Nando Moreno. After 46 played minutes S.E. Cachoeirinha got a freekick which was hit by Rafinha Gonçalves. F.C. AMERICAN BARÇA's Marco-Antonio Climent shoveled away a really nice long shot in the 47th minute of play. The shot was stopped by Ismael de Carvalho but with some difficulty. After a very even first half the match was still tied. The players went to their respective dressing rooms to discuss the tactics for the second half.

The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for Manolito Flores to strike the kick off in the second half. Manolito Flores scored 2-1 in the 53rd match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Ismael de Carvalho, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. An unexpectedly hard shot by Manolito Flores in the 58th minute of play forced S.E. Cachoeirinha's goalkeeper Ismael de Carvalho to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Joachim Dobale received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 63rd minute. Ismael de Carvalho tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Fabinho Vinhas hit a great freekick 69 minutes into the match. The supporters of S.E. Ismael de Carvalho was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. In the 91st match minute, F.C. AMERICAN BARÇA was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Marco-Antonio Climent to maneuver through the defense. S.E. Cachoeirinha's Ismael de Carvalho played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Manolito Flores in the 94th minute of play. 95 minutes into the match, Nando Moreno dribbled the ball past the defender and swiftly kicked the ball to the left of Ramón Quiroga, 3-2. When the referee ended the match the F.C. AMERICAN BARÇA players were able to celebrate. They had won a fair victory and recieved the ovations of their fans.
