The crowd had been anticipating this game for weeks and the excitement in the stadium was easily visible. U21 Brazil's Duda Mota quite brazenly broke a throw-in by Murdock Sinden, made in the 2nd minute of the game. U21 Brazil's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Qjos MiLLano the free kick. After 13 played minutes U21 Brazil got a freekick which was hit by Thiago Motta. 17 minutes into the match, Qjos MiLLano's goal looked a bit too open when Duarte de Castro came free, but Fabiano Saldanha reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. A hard shot 26 in the game by Duarte de Castro from a close distance when the talented Fabiano Saldanha managed to make a qualified save. Fabiano Saldanha showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Guilherme Souza, who was totally free with the ball in the 42nd minute. In the 68th match minute, Qjos MiLLano was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Erik Vale to maneuver through the defense. 69 minutes into the match, Elói Alcântara notched a goal, 2-0, to the right of Qjos MiLLano's Fabiano Saldanha. Fabiano Saldanha was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. In the 73rd minute Kléberson Mazza shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Fabiano Saldanha saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Luiz Fabiano Soares hit a great ball. 77 minutes into the match, U21 Brazil's Elói Alcântara sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Fabiano Saldanha narrowly saved just below the crossbar. U21 Brazil were awarded a corner in the 78th minute after Qjos MiLLano's defender lost control of the ball, allowing it to roll out over the line. Thiago Motta took the corner. The corner led U21 Brazil's Jano Moreira to fire away a dangerous shot which Fabiano Saldanha despite some difficulties managed to get hold on the ball. The supporters of U21 Brazil booed when Qjos MiLLano was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 83 match minutes in a wonderful position. Cafu Hermes didn't get a good kick on the ball. In the 86th minute Kléberson Mazza shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Fabiano Saldanha saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. After a rather tough play, Qjos MiLLano's Cafu Hermes got a free kick in the 95th minute. In the 96th minute, Thiago Motta sent off a long shot on goal, but the shot was nowhere near the goal and Qjos MiLLano's Fabiano Saldanha didn't even have to move.
