The crowd had been anticipating this game for weeks and the excitement in the stadium was easily visible. GreenSkar FC's Acácio Gaspar got a good chance for a goal in the 3rd minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Silverio Cordearo made an important save on a dangerous shot by Carl Enström in the 8th minute. In the 8th minute, GreenSkar FC's Carl Enström dribbled the ball into the box and hit a shot with the outside of his foot, sending the keeper the wrong way. 1-0. The supporters of CA Quake booed when GreenSkar FC was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 13 match minutes in a wonderful position. Kent Ivarsson didn't get a good kick on the ball. Silverio Cordearo was a little too slow when Jan-Ove Hansson got a fine hit on the ball which went right into the goal in the 16th minute. The score was now 2-0. After 19 played minutes GreenSkar FC got a freekick which was hit by Bernt Karlberg. Silverio Cordearo made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Acácio Gaspar in the 22nd minute of play. Carl Enström came free with the goalkeeper in the 25th minute of the match, and shot straight on target. The shot was a little too simple and Silverio Cordearo could save by the left post. 26 minutes had been played when some careless play by CA Quake's defense caused the ball to cross the line for a corner. Jonny Blom was slow to take the kick. During this time GreenSkar FC's players had a chance to rest. A nice corner shot did that Jonny Blom got away a dangerous shot. Despite this Silverio Cordearo quite easily got ahold of the ball to make the save. Bernt Karlberg was astounded when the referee showed him the red card after a seemingly innocent challenge, 30 minutes into the match. The referee blew the whistle for a penalty in the 29th minute of the game. One of GreenSkar FC:s players had nearly got his shirt torn off by an opponent while getting free in front of CA Quake:s goal. Iwan Gamza went to the wrong direction when Rogelio Sadurni was taking care of the penalty kick which however missed the goal. Iwan Gamza showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Benicio Balasi in the 33rd minute of the match. If Acácio Gaspar had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 35th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. In the 37th match minute, GreenSkar FC was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Codrin Stana to maneuver through the defense. In the 43rd minute, Cayetano Aznaro left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The CA Quake fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 2-1. The away team players looked dejected as the walked off the pitch at half time. They had fought hard, but were still losing 2-1.

Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Benicio Balasi to make the kick off. Benicio Balasi's shot straight on target was not completely harmless. The ball had pretty good speed, but Iwan Gamza firmly grabbed it by the left post. An unexpectedly hard shot by Carl Enström in the 60th minute of play forced CA Quake's goalkeeper Silverio Cordearo to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. In the 76th minute Carl Enström shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Silverio Cordearo saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. A collision led to CA Quake getting a freekick after 81 minutes play. Eduardo Ledesma hit a great ball. GreenSkar FC's Acácio Gaspar got a good chance for a goal in the 86th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. The crowd rose to their feet and cheered when the referee blew the final whistle. GreenSkar FC had won after a very even match.
