The crowd had been anticipating this game for weeks and the excitement in the stadium was easily visible. After a rather tough play, LA DEL MONO's Edelmiro Paskal got a free kick in the 5th minute. Fabio Betadur made an important save on a dangerous shot by Carmelo Ishmael in the 9th minute. Higinio Botello kicked well hit freekick during the 9th minute of the match. In the 12th minute, Vince Easton ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Aristides Iztal was frozen by the shot and now it was 0-1. Fabio Betadur made a fantastic save in the 14th minute, when Hernan Vargas sent off a good shot on target. 16 minutes into the match, GangsTaz F. C.'s goal looked a bit too open when Vince Easton came free, but Aristides Iztal reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Edgar Iordănescu sent away a hard shot on goal in the 17th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. If Esteban Criston had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 22nd minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Vince Easton scored 0-2 in the 27th match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Aristides Iztal, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. A collision led to LA DEL MONO getting a freekick after 30 minutes play. Higinio Botello hit a great ball. Lajos Tímár received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 38th minute. Fabio Betadur tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. The audience thought a goal was coming when Hernan Vargas got free with Fabio Betadur in the 44th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort.

The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Vince Easton stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. Vince Easton might have been able to make a better finish in the 53rd minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Aristides Iztal. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Vince Easton ran back to his position shaking his head. 53 minutes into the match, GangsTaz F. C.'s goalkeeper Aristides Iztal had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Vince Easton. In the 59th minute, Vince Easton made a precise shot to the right of Aristides Iztal. GangsTaz F. C.'s defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 0-3. Aristides Iztal was in the perfect position, and the defense had done a good job marking him, but Vince Easton showcased his skills and made a perfect shot to score 0-4 in the 63 minute of play. 66 minutes into the match, LA DEL MONO's goal looked a bit too open when Hernan Vargas came free, but Fabio Betadur reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. In a very dangerous position, a player in LA DEL MONO fell when an opponent tried to get the ball from him in the 77th minute. Penalty! Fabio Betadur went to the wrong direction when Carmelo Ishmael was taking care of the penalty kick which however missed the goal. 82 minutes into the game, Higinio Botello lined in a short shot 0-6 behind a frustrated Aristides Iztal. In the 86th minute, Oscar Malbernat hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. In the 87th minute, Higinio Botello fired away a killer shot towards the goal that, to the delight of Aristides Iztal, passed just outside the right post. Fabio Betadur showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Lajos Tímár, who was totally free with the ball in the 89th minute. 93 minutes into the match, GangsTaz F. C.'s Lajos Tímár sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Fabio Betadur narrowly saved just below the crossbar. If Higinio Botello had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 96th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. The LA DEL MONO players were relieved to hear the final whistle blow to end the match. The away crowd was happy to see their team win after a very tight game.
