The LA DEL MONO fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 0-2. After a defensive mix-up in LA DEL MONO's zone, Lajos Tímár stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Fabio Betadur came out of the goal and Lajos Tímár tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. GangsTaz F. C.'s goalie ran out to the linesman to protest the call, but the linesman resolutely pointed his flag at the cornerflag. Elpidio Guillelmo ran over to the corner to take the kick. Elpidio Guillelmo made a great header on LA DEL MONO's corner, it was just that GangsTaz F. C.'s Aristides Iztal managed to reach the ball for a save. Even after changing tactics the home team jogged off the field with a 0-2 deficit. They would have to work harder if they wanted to turn things around in the second half.

Both teams had looked equal from kick-off, and no-one was surprised when the match finally ended in a draw.
