Alkinoos Margaritas could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 10th minute of the match, but Genaro Ponciano made a huge save. An unexpectedly hard shot by Alkinoos Margaritas in the 16th minute of play forced FC Iecēni's goalkeeper Genaro Ponciano to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. FC Iecēni's Genaro Ponciano proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 18th minute of the match, managed to save FC Iecēni from getting a goal against them. 21 minutes into the match, FC Iecēni's goalkeeper Genaro Ponciano had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Alkinoos Margaritas. The audience thought a goal was coming when Alkinoos Margaritas got free with Genaro Ponciano in the 25th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. The audience was convinced that Alkinoos Margaritas's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Genaro Ponciano was relentless in the 30th minute of the game. The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Alkinoos Margaritas stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. 51 minutes into the match, FC Iecēni's goal looked a bit too open when Alkinoos Margaritas came free, but Genaro Ponciano reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. AJ Juventus FC were awarded a corner in the 53th minute after FC Iecēni's defender lost control of the ball, allowing it to roll out over the line. Damian Zahonero took the corner. Despite this Mambru Puertas quite easily got ahold of the ball to make the save. Genaro Ponciano showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Leoncio Abarzua, who was totally free with the ball in the 59th minute. Viktors Behmans hit a great freekick 64 minutes into the match. FC Iecēni's Osvalds Borskis was substituted for Olafs Buncis. 67 minutes into the game, Alkinoos Margaritas cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 3-1. Genaro Ponciano was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. AJ Juventus FC made a substitution. Duško Zambata replaced Alkinoos Margaritas. In the 72nd minute, Duško Zambata made a precise shot to the right of Genaro Ponciano. FC Iecēni's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 4-1. The referee blew his whistle, and the match came to a close. The players exchanged shirts and headed down the tunnel. The AJ Juventus FC fans cheered their team off the field, for while FC Iecēni had put up a good fight, they were unable to come out of the game with any points to show for their effort.
