After 34 minutes of play, PALMEIRAS-UTAH's Qu Feng made it 0-1 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. John Osomo was left in no man's land by his defense there! John Osomo made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Donald Voldfrom in the 37th minute of play. An unexpectedly hard shot by Donald Voldfrom in the 39th minute of play forced PALMEIRAS CE - DMZ's goalkeeper John Osomo to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. After 42 played minutes PALMEIRAS CE - DMZ got a freekick which was hit by Frans Larsfelt. Egemen Aldemir charged in rather forcefully in the 45th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Egemen Aldemir the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. A collision led to PALMEIRAS CE - DMZ getting a freekick after 45 minutes play. Egemen Aldemir hit a great ball. 46 minutes into the match, PALMEIRAS-UTAH's Olimpiu Mirciulescu broke free and took a long shot that unfortunately flew wide. A fine initiative that could have resulted in a goal. Luck had favoured the away team in the first, and they walked off with a 0-1 lead.

The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Örjan Björkdahl was the one to do the kick off. In the 53rd minute Andre Randall shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but John Osomo saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. John Osomo showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Donald Voldfrom in the 54th minute of the match. PALMEIRAS-UTAH's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave PALMEIRAS CE - DMZ the free kick. The supporters of PALMEIRAS CE - DMZ booed when PALMEIRAS-UTAH was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 89 match minutes in a wonderful position. Charlton Livingston didn't get a good kick on the ball. Örjan Björkdahl struck a weak shot in the 92nd minute. 严昂军 didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for PALMEIRAS CE - DMZ. PALMEIRAS CE - DMZ succeeded in salvaging a draw, even though PALMEIRAS-UTAH had controlled the match.
