But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Alin Dragalina couldn't finish the play. Sporting Royal's defense didn't have a chance, in the 56th minute, when Ulf Öfverman scored to the left of an out of position Lucrețiu Roșeanu, making the score, 1-2. An unexpectedly hard shot by Alin Dragalina in the 59th minute of play forced Brothers of Mercy's goalkeeper Alexandre Pires to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. 66 minutes into the match, Brothers of Mercy's goal looked a bit too open when Marius Roşulescu came free, but Alexandre Pires reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. The supporters of Sporting Royal booed when Brothers of Mercy was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 67 match minutes in a wonderful position. Leonardo Odeen didn't get a good kick on the ball. In the 89th minute, Nae Moisil hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Dorin Borza received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 91st minute. Alexandre Pires tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. The Brothers of Mercy fans' excitement grew in the 95th match minute when Brothers of Mercy's Mats Elg looked to have a clear shot with the ball near the goal. The shot wasn't hard, but the ball still rolled over the goal line to make it 2-4 before the goalkeeper had a chance to intervene. The Sporting Royal supporters were disappointed that their team didn't take anything from the match, despite matching Brothers of Mercy's performance. The match ended with a win for Brothers of Mercy.
