Rareș Gheară kicked well hit freekick during the 5th minute of the match. The audience held their breath when Bozhil Vaptzarov in the 7th minute of the game managed to trick the opponents defenses and fired away a shot outside the goal on the Tanek Zurawski's left hand side. Gonsalve Flores showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Raphaël Lallemand, who was totally free with the ball in the 13th minute. In the 20th minute, Abraham Beauval made a precise shot to the right of Gonsalve Flores. U.D. Mancini's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 0-1. Gonsalve Flores took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Raphaël Lallemand, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. U.D. Mancini's Gonsalve Flores played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Abraham Beauval in the 25th minute of play. After 33 minutes of play, Les Pionniers de Touraine's Abraham Beauval made it 0-3 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Gonsalve Flores was left in no man's land by his defense there! 38 minutes into the game, Les Pionniers de Touraine's Abraham Beauval nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Gonsalve Flores made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 0-4. Abraham Beauval took the ball and in the 45 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Gonsalve Flores. Gonsalve Flores dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 0-5. Even after changing tactics the home team jogged off the field with a 0-5 deficit. They would have to work harder if they wanted to turn things around in the second half.

The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Abraham Beauval was the one to do the kick off. An unexpectedly hard shot by Bozhil Vaptzarov in the 55th minute of play forced Les Pionniers de Touraine's goalkeeper Tanek Zurawski to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. In the 64th minute Bozhil Vaptzarov shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Tanek Zurawski saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. An unexpectedly hard shot by Bozhil Vaptzarov in the 66th minute of play forced Les Pionniers de Touraine's goalkeeper Tanek Zurawski to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. 70 minutes into the game, Big Burne threw the ball into play from the sideline. U.D. Mancini's Rudolf Esken quickly snatched the ball and retained possesion. Tanek Zurawski came out of the goal in the 80th minute to try and stop a shot by U.D. Mancini's Bozhil Vaptzarov. But to his dismay, Bozhil Vaptzarov quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 1-5. Bozhil Vaptzarov received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 85th minute. Tanek Zurawski tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Désiré Alberto made in the 87th minute of the game a sloppy throw-in which Léon Sureau however managed to control. With an all-out effort, Les Pionniers de Touraine's Gonsalve Flores threw himself towards the right post 89 minutes into the match and grabbed hold of the ball from Raphaël Lallemand, which otherwise would have been placed in the net. 90 minutes into the match, Les Pionniers de Touraine's goal looked a bit too open when Bozhil Vaptzarov came free, but Tanek Zurawski reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. The Les Pionniers de Touraine supporters could be heard counting down the last seconds of the match. They errupted in celebration when the whistle blew, knowing Les Pionniers de Touraine would go home with victory in their luggage after a match that easily could have ended differently.
