After a defensive mix-up in vascão o Melhor's zone, Leandro Soares stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Kevin Muro came out of the goal and Leandro Soares tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Carel Huiting charged in rather forcefully in the 25th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Carel Huiting the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. Carel Huiting hit a great freekick 25 minutes into the match. An unexpectedly hard shot by Gust Deflandre in the 26th minute of play forced Fc Benefica's goalkeeper Taco Uebels to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. A sloppy throw-in by Durval Moraes in the 33rd minute of the game went astray and was snapped up by Fc Benefica's Jens van Basten. Kevin Muro showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Leandro Soares, who was totally free with the ball in the 43rd minute. After a defensive mix-up in vascão o Melhor's zone, Leandro Soares stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Kevin Muro came out of the goal and Leandro Soares tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Leandro Soares made a kick off. The throw-in from Durval Moraes in the 51st minute of the game was unfortunally taken care of by Fc Benefica's Gilmar Maranhense. Wellington Cabral hit a great freekick 55 minutes into the match. Taco Uebels showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Gust Deflandre, who was totally free with the ball in the 58th minute. After 61 minutes of play, Fc Benefica's Leandro Soares made it 0-3 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Kevin Muro was left in no man's land by his defense there! Taco Uebels stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of 毛建棋's shot from short distance in the 64th minute. Fc Benefica made a substitution. Palmiro Quadros replaced Humberto Jonge. Fc Benefica's Eduard Gryshko quite brazenly broke a throw-in by Wellington Cabral, made in the 67th minute of the game. Eduard Gryshko fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 68th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Kevin Muro having to interfere. Leandro Soares sent away a hard shot on goal in the 71st minute, but the ball hit the crossbar and went out. A very good chance for a goal. 71 minutes into the match, vascão o Melhor's goal looked a bit too open when Leandro Soares came free, but Kevin Muro reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. In the 80th minute, Leandro Soares ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Kevin Muro was frozen by the shot and now it was 0-4. Kevin Muro made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Leandro Soares in the 86th minute of play. Kevin Muro took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Leandro Soares, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Jens van Basten sent away a hard shot on goal in the 89th minute, but the ball hit the crossbar and went out. A very good chance for a goal. Leandro Soares might have been able to make a better finish in the 93rd minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Kevin Muro. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Leandro Soares ran back to his position shaking his head. The audience held their breath when Leandro Soares in the 96th minute of the game managed to trick the opponents defenses and fired away a shot outside the goal on the Kevin Muro's left hand side. The away crowd were delighted with the way their team had played and cheered loudly when the final whistle sounded. Fc Benefica walked away with the win, even though the match was close until the end.
