Argyris Anastasiadis hit a great ball. In the 21st minute Thanasis Papaspyrou shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Virgilio Urdin saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. In the 25th minute, Lakis Panoulias left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The PAOK B fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 0-1. After having played for 30 minutes, Valerios Souliotis managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. PAOK B's supporters crossed their fingers, but Valerios Souliotis was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Alejandro Elorri during the 31st minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. The supporters of PAOK B booed when BERMEJO was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 31 match minutes in a wonderful position. Alejandro Elorri didn't get a good kick on the ball. In the 33rd match minute, BERMEJO was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Severino Nikola to maneuver through the defense. 37 minutes into the match, Valerios Souliotis notched a goal, 0-2, to the right of BERMEJO's Virgilio Urdin. Virgilio Urdin was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. Valerios Souliotis's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Virgilio Urdin read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 40th minute of play. Jimeno Favila hit a great freekick 40 minutes into the match. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Valerios Souliotis in the 44th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Virgilio Urdin saved BERMEJO from getting behind. A collision led to BERMEJO getting a freekick after 46 minutes play. Hernan Peruxu hit a great ball. 47 minutes into the match, Valerios Souliotis had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Virgilio Urdin. BERMEJO's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Valerios Souliotis was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 0-3. Even after changing tactics the home team jogged off the field with a 0-3 deficit. They would have to work harder if they wanted to turn things around in the second half.

The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for Valerios Souliotis to strike the kick off in the second half. In the 55th minute, Conrado Vedillo hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. When Thanasis Papaspyrou came up free with the goalie in the 58th minute, the PAOK B fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Thanasis Papaspyrou couldn't finish the play. PAOK B made a substitution. Soulis Papoulis replaced Charilaos Pagalos. The crowd rose to their feet as PAOK B's Valerios Souliotis slotted home a wonderful shot that went in to the left of Virgilio Urdin. That made the score 0-4 after 62 minutes of play. An unexpectedly hard shot by Valerios Souliotis in the 67th minute of play forced BERMEJO's goalkeeper Virgilio Urdin to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Valerios Souliotis received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 70th minute. Virgilio Urdin tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Michalis Valeras showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Conrado Vedillo, who was totally free with the ball in the 77th minute. In the 78th minute Javier Burutzagi shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Michalis Valeras saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. In the 81st minute, Arnulfo Canor hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. PAOK B made a substitution. Nikos Katsidimas replaced Thanasis Papaspyrou. After some fancy dribbling in the 83rd minute, Konstantinos Paltoudopoulos managed to get in a good position for a shot. PAOK B's supporters rose to their feet, but Konstantinos Paltoudopoulos was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Virgilio Urdin breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. The audience thought a goal was coming when Lakis Panoulias got free with Virgilio Urdin in the 86th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. The supporters of PAOK B booed when BERMEJO was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 87 match minutes in a wonderful position. Alejandro Elorri didn't get a good kick on the ball. If Valerios Souliotis had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 91st minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. An unexpectedly hard shot by Valerios Souliotis in the 95th minute of play forced BERMEJO's goalkeeper Virgilio Urdin to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Thymios Chatziiakovou hit a great freekick 97 minutes into the match. The PAOK B supporters could be heard counting down the last seconds of the match. They errupted in celebration when the whistle blew, knowing PAOK B would go home with victory in their luggage after a match that easily could have ended differently.
