The crowd had been anticipating this game for weeks and the excitement in the stadium was easily visible. Shi Li blasted a shot towards the goal in the 3rd minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Xove Tijerina having to make a save. Dursun Yılğıralp could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 4th minute of the match, but Octavian Soare made a huge save. POZANTI SPOR's Xove Tijerina played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Shi Li in the 8th minute of play. Mattias Claudinger made in the 16th minute of the game a throw-in that took a bad bounce and was taken care of by Galati Harbour Cats's Onurhan Çinuçin. Thanks to some nice moves Çelikan Unan could shoot a difficult shot in the 18th minute, which Octavian Soare however easily saved by the left post. With a little luck, Galati Harbour Cats's Octavian Soare got control of the ball when Çelikan Unan tried to sneak it across the goal line. The audience was convinced that Dursun Yılğıralp's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Octavian Soare was relentless in the 20th minute of the game. Xove Tijerina showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Onurhan Çinuçin, who was totally free with the ball in the 46th minute. Galati Harbour Cats's Octavian Soare proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 47th minute of the match, managed to save Galati Harbour Cats from getting a goal against them. After a very even first half the match was still tied. The players went to their respective dressing rooms to discuss the tactics for the second half.

Octavian Soare showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Sebastian Drewitz in the 52nd minute of the match. An unexpectedly hard shot by Shi Li in the 56th minute of play forced POZANTI SPOR's goalkeeper Xove Tijerina to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Galati Harbour Cats's attacker deliberately struck the ball against an opponent to win a corner for his team. The corner was taken by Dan Petrescu in the 58th minute. An unexpectedly hard shot by Ahmet Ege Kerimhan in the 59th minute of play forced Galati Harbour Cats's goalkeeper Octavian Soare to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. 63 minutes into the match, POZANTI SPOR's goal looked a bit too open when Shi Li came free, but Xove Tijerina reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. In the 64thth minute of the game Shi Li who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but POZANTI SPOR's Xove Tijerina was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. Dan Petrescu hit a great freekick 66 minutes into the match. The supporters of POZANTI SPOR booed when Galati Harbour Cats was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 67 match minutes in a wonderful position. Dan Petrescu didn't get a good kick on the ball. POZANTI SPOR's Xove Tijerina played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Ianis Man in the 71st minute of play. Ianis Man could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 72nd minute of the match, but Xove Tijerina made a huge save. Octavian Soare made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Dursun Yılğıralp in the 87th minute of play. POZANTI SPOR's Behram Çubukcu was substituted for Vahdet İren. Galati Harbour Cats's Antoni Dembkowski was substituted for Onurhan Çinuçin. POZANTI SPOR made a substitution. Utku Yanar replaced Çelikan Unan. Galati Harbour Cats's supporters were very happy and cheered loudly because their team had won after a very close match.
