Kauan de Senna didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Vitinho de Barros went, in the 10th minute, to the upper right corner, 2-0 was the resulting score. In the 15th minute Vitinho de Barros shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Kauan de Senna saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Chester Bennington's Kauan de Senna played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Vitinho de Barros in the 15th minute of play. Kauan de Senna made an important save on a dangerous shot by Ludomil Frankowski in the 22nd minute. 25 minutes into the match, Artemio Argoitz had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Leonard Rosen. When Vitinho de Barros came up free with the goalie in the 46th minute, the AA Bełchatów fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Vitinho de Barros couldn't finish the play. When the referee blew for the end of the half the home team players were clearly happier, as they went in to the break leading 2-1.

The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for Vitinho de Barros to strike the kick off in the second half. AA Bełchatów's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Chester Bennington the free kick. After 88 played minutes AA Bełchatów got a freekick which was hit by Guido Pietro. When Stanislaw Fink fell near the penalty area in the 93rd minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored AA Bełchatów's protests and gave Stanislaw Fink a yellow card for diving instead. Stanislaw Fink hit a great freekick 93 minutes into the match.
