Spectators: 36 (Terracing: 28, Seating: 8, VIP seats: 0) Patay Juniors's Prospero Petri started the match with a crisp pass. The crowd had been anticipating this game for weeks and the excitement in the stadium was easily visible. The supporters of Patay Juniors booed when FCSB CUENCA was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 7 match minutes in a wonderful position. Samuel Dracena didn't get a good kick on the ball. When Prospero Petri came up free with the goalie in the 9th minute, the Patay Juniors fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Prospero Petri couldn't finish the play. 11 minutes into the match, Ceferino Monte notched a goal, 1-0, to the right of FCSB CUENCA's Beto Sola. Beto Sola was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. Salbatore Colillas hit a great freekick 13 minutes into the match. Edgard Ledesma hit a great freekick 14 minutes into the match. Cayetano Francho took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Marcio Carreira, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Cayetano Francho showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Marcio Carreira in the 19th minute of the match. In the 23rd minute Ceferino Monte shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Beto Sola saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Patay Juniors's Prospero Petri was first on the ball when the corner was shot and he dangerously headed the ball towards goal, but Beto Sola in the goal jumped up to prevent it from getting in. Samuel Dracena thought of kicking away a contribution in front of goal but messed it up so badly that the ball went to the right of an astonished Beto Sola, a very annoying self made goal in the 24th minute which led to 2-0. An unexpectedly hard shot by Americo Olivar in the 27th minute of play forced Patay Juniors's goalkeeper Cayetano Francho to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. With a little luck, FCSB CUENCA's Beto Sola got control of the ball when Ceferino Monte tried to sneak it across the goal line. Cayetano Francho made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Americo Olivar in the 30th minute of play. Patay Juniors's Cayetano Francho played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Americo Olivar in the 31st minute of play. In the 36th minute Americo Olivar shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Cayetano Francho saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. In the 38th minute Edgard Ledesma shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Beto Sola saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Cayetano Francho showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Americo Olivar, who was totally free with the ball in the 40th minute. Cayetano Francho came out of the goal in the 43rd minute to try and stop a shot by FCSB CUENCA's Marcio Carreira. But to his dismay, Marcio Carreira quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 2-1. When the referee blew for the end of the half the home team players were clearly happier, as they went in to the break leading 2-1.

The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Marcio Carreira was the one to do the kick off. Americo Olivar's shot straight on target was not completely harmless. The ball had pretty good speed, but Cayetano Francho firmly grabbed it by the left post. Cayetano Francho made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Salbatore Colillas in the 53rd minute of play. Cayetano Francho made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Marcio Carreira in the 60th minute of play. 64 minutes into the match, FCSB CUENCA's goal looked a bit too open when Prospero Petri came free, but Beto Sola reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Leo Chesus fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 69th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Beto Sola having to interfere. With a little luck, Patay Juniors's Cayetano Francho got control of the ball when Marcio Carreira tried to sneak it across the goal line. Cayetano Francho showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Fausto Preuss in the 76th minute of the match. In the 77th match minute, FCSB CUENCA was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Americo Olivar to maneuver through the defense. Beto Sola showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Ceferino Monte in the 79th minute of the match. In the 81st minute Prospero Petri shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Beto Sola saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Marcio Carreira sent away a hard shot on goal in the 87th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. The audience thought a goal was coming when Marcio Carreira got free with Cayetano Francho in the 90th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. Cayetano Francho didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Marcio Carreira went, in the 93rd minute, to the upper right corner, 2-3 was the resulting score. When the final whistle went the supporters of FCSB CUENCA were delighted that their team had defeated the much more dominant Patay Juniors side.
