Tomás Bernard started the match with the kick off. Sebastião Salgado made a fantastic save in the 5th minute, when Israel Sadurni sent off a good shot on target. Jurand Bryk made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Abdellatif Benkhirane in the 6th minute of play. Bairoletto FC's Jurand Bryk played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Nacer Khlifi in the 7th minute of play. Jurand Bryk showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Nacer Khlifi in the 19th minute of the match. Israel Sadurni made in the 21st minute of the game a fairly good throw-in which was taken care of by Nereo Norino. Marrakech FC's Sebastião Salgado played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Nereo Iratzeder in the 27th minute of play. Cássio Proença recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 29th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. An unexpectedly hard shot by Nacer Khlifi in the 30th minute of play forced Bairoletto FC's goalkeeper Jurand Bryk to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. 32 minutes into the match, Marrakech FC's goal looked a bit too open when Nereo Iratzeder came free, but Sebastião Salgado reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. A collision led to Bairoletto FC getting a freekick after 34 minutes play. Israel Sadurni hit a great ball. An unexpectedly hard shot by Artemio Perutxo in the 48th minute of play forced Marrakech FC's goalkeeper Sebastião Salgado to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. After the first half Marrakech FC were leading 0-1. They had played with great self confidence throughout the first half and fully deserved their lead.

When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Abdellatif Benkhirane made a kick off. Jurand Bryk took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Nacer Khlifi, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. After 56 played minutes Bairoletto FC got a freekick which was hit by Albano Pueblo. After 59 played minutes Bairoletto FC got a freekick which was hit by Joselito Pedrosa. Nacer Khlifi took a chance and fired a shot far from the goal in the 59th minute, but it turned out to be a dangerous situation for Jurand Bryk. Bairoletto FC's goalkeeper really had to stretch himself to stop the ball from crossing the goal line. In the 61st minute Nereo Iratzeder shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Sebastião Salgado saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. An unexpectedly hard shot by Nereo Iratzeder in the 64th minute of play forced Marrakech FC's goalkeeper Sebastião Salgado to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Marrakech FC's Cássio Proença got a good chance for a goal in the 66th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. 69 minutes into the match, Nereo Iratzeder had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Sebastião Salgado. Marrakech FC's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Nereo Iratzeder was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 1-1. Bairoletto FC's Jurand Bryk played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Nacer Khlifi in the 72nd minute of play. Vuyani Tshabalala charged in rather forcefully in the 73rd minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Vuyani Tshabalala the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. In the 73rd minute, Vuyani Tshabalala hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Jacindo Guztros took a chance and fired a shot far from the goal in the 74th minute, but it turned out to be a dangerous situation for Sebastião Salgado. Marrakech FC's goalkeeper really had to stretch himself to stop the ball from crossing the goal line. In the 75th minute Nereo Iratzeder shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Sebastião Salgado saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Marrakech FC were furious when Misael Diaz was red carded, 86 minutes into the game, but the referee dismissed their protests. After 85 minutes of play, the referee blew the whistle. It was a penalty for Marrakech FC! Abdellatif Benkhirane received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 92nd minute. Jurand Bryk tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Nacer Khlifi's shot straight on target was not completely harmless. The ball had pretty good speed, but Jurand Bryk firmly grabbed it by the left post. Israel Sadurni did an outstanding performance 97 minutes into the match, when he by himself got past the opposing team's defense and with a quick scored 2-1 to the right of an irritated Sebastião Salgado in the goal. Many of Marrakech FC's supporters were seen to leave the ground early as it became clear their team was going to lose. Marrakech FC may have spent more time on the ball, but Bairoletto FC were more willing to take their chances and they walked away with the win.
