Montalcino SE's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Brothers of Mercy the free kick. Valdomiro Ferraz had in the 10thth minute some difficulties stopping Christer Valler's well aimed penalty as it nearly passed him on his left side, but he still managed to hold the ball. Montalcino SE's Leonardo de Godoi was first on the ball when the corner was shot and he dangerously headed the ball towards goal, but Ni Jun Sha in the goal jumped up to prevent it from getting in. In the 18th minute the ball was on its way in behind Montalcino SE's goalkeeper Valdomiro Ferraz, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. 20 minutes into the match, Brothers of Mercy's goal looked a bit too open when Nicolas Espiridion came free, but Ni Jun Sha reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Ni Jun Sha made an important save on a dangerous shot by Modesto Atarratze in the 21st minute. An unexpectedly hard shot by Håkan Lindgren in the 23rd minute of play forced Montalcino SE's goalkeeper Valdomiro Ferraz to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. In the 25th minute of the match, Modesto Atarratze got a very nice opportunity to score, but Ni Jun Sha was well-placed and pushed the ball away from the goal at the left post. Brothers of Mercy's attacker deliberately struck the ball against an opponent to win a corner for his team. The corner was taken by Di Yi Yuan in the 29th minute. The corner led Brothers of Mercy's Di Yi Yuan to fire away a dangerous shot which Valdomiro Ferraz despite some difficulties managed to get hold on the ball. 34 minutes into the game, Nicolas Espiridion was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Montalcino SE's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Brothers of Mercy the free kick. In the 38th match minute, Brothers of Mercy was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Per-Oskar Hjortsberg to maneuver through the defense. Nicolas Espiridion scored 2-0 in the 39th match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Ni Jun Sha, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. The home fans were very happy to see their team leading 2-1 at half-time.

Brothers of Mercy made a substitution. Alex Axelsson replaced Roger Strömberg. Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Håkan Lindgren to make the kick off. 54 minutes into the match, Brothers of Mercy's goal looked a bit too open when Perivaldo Paiva came free, but Ni Jun Sha reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. 57 minutes into the match, Brothers of Mercy's goal looked a bit too open when Nicolas Espiridion came free, but Ni Jun Sha reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. After 86 played minutes Montalcino SE got a freekick which was hit by Genílson Diniz. Håkan Lindgren recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 91st minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. In the 95th minute, Genílson Diniz hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. For all the effort they put into the match, the Brothers of Mercy players left disappointed. They had fought hard, but couldn't break down the home team's defense. The match ended in a win for Montalcino SE.
