Saverio Fidele made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 1-1. Saverio Fidele made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Dong Cheng Si in the 15th minute of play. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Dong Cheng Si in the 19th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Saverio Fidele prevented the ball from getting in the gole. Chelco FC made a substitution. Leonardo Aznaro replaced Torbjörn Hökqvist. After a rather tough play, ÇORUM SPOR KULÜBÜ's Bill Nietlispach got a free kick in the 21st minute. The ÇORUM SPOR KULÜBÜ fans' excitement grew in the 27th match minute when ÇORUM SPOR KULÜBÜ's Dong Cheng Si looked to have a clear shot with the ball near the goal. Saverio Fidele stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Dong Cheng Si's shot from short distance in the 41st minute. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Dong Cheng Si in the 41st managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Saverio Fidele saved Chelco FC from getting behind. 45 minutes into the match, ÇORUM SPOR KULÜBÜ's Dong Cheng Si sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Saverio Fidele narrowly saved just below the crossbar. ÇORUM SPOR KULÜBÜ's attacker deliberately struck the ball against an opponent to win a corner for his team. The corner was taken by Bill Nietlispach in the 46th minute. After taking down the ball on ÇORUM SPOR KULÜBÜ's corner Bill Nietlispach fired away a hard shot, but the defenders efficiently covered the most dangerous angles and Saverio Fidele quite easily take care of the ball.

The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for Rafal Ludwiczak to strike the kick off in the second half. 54 minutes into the game, Uğur Erkovich was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. ÇORUM SPOR KULÜBÜ's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Chelco FC the free kick. They had held their defensive line well and made the most of their chances, to claim a victory over Chelco FC's much stronger midfield.
