Luisinho Laguna could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 4th minute of the match, but Kıvanç Yücesan made a huge save. Luisinho Laguna let the left foot speak when in front of goal in the 4th minute shot 1-0 at rihgt post. In the 7th minute Argyris Zagorakis shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Nacho Gonzalez saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. In the 8th minute SC Pfullendorf were awarded a corner. David Moya went to the cornerflag to take it. Argyris Zagorakis made a great header on SC Pfullendorf's corner, it was just that El Gallo de Moron's Nacho Gonzalez managed to reach the ball for a save. 13 minutes into the match, El Gallo de Moron's goal looked a bit too open when Miguel Rodríguez came free, but Nacho Gonzalez reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Gilberto Ihazintu hit a great freekick 14 minutes into the match. Nacho Gonzalez made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Argyris Zagorakis in the 25th minute of play. Nacho Gonzalez came out of the goal in the 29th minute to try and stop a shot by SC Pfullendorf's Miguel Rodríguez. But to his dismay, Miguel Rodríguez quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 1-1. Nacho Gonzalez took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Argyris Zagorakis, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. In the 37th minute Argyris Zagorakis shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Nacho Gonzalez saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. 38 minutes into the match, El Gallo de Moron's goal looked a bit too open when Argyris Zagorakis came free, but Nacho Gonzalez reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. After the first half the score was level. The break gave the players a chance to catch their breath, whilst the managers went over the tactics with them again.

In the 54th match minute, El Gallo de Moron was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Vasile Neicu to maneuver through the defense. Nacho Gonzalez made a fantastic save in the 55th minute, when Argyris Zagorakis sent off a good shot on target. SC Pfullendorf's 彭森银 was substituted for Argyris Zagorakis. 58 minutes had been played when some careless play by El Gallo de Moron's defense caused the ball to cross the line for a corner. David Moya was slow to take the kick. During this time SC Pfullendorf's players had a chance to rest. SC Pfullendorf's David Moya was first on the ball when the corner was shot and he dangerously headed the ball towards goal, but Nacho Gonzalez in the goal jumped up to prevent it from getting in. 彭森银 received a nice pass, split the defenders, and ran untouched towards the goal. Nacho Gonzalez came out and tried to block the shot, but 彭森银 slotted it home off the left post making it 1-2 in the 60th minute. When Luisinho Laguna came up free with the goalie in the 65th minute, the El Gallo de Moron fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Luisinho Laguna couldn't finish the play. SC Pfullendorf's Huang Sheng was substituted for Sydney Tepedino. 69 minutes into the match, SC Pfullendorf's 彭森银 sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Nacho Gonzalez narrowly saved just below the crossbar. Cheng Gang Wen sent away a hard shot on goal in the 70th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Kıvanç Yücesan showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Luisinho Laguna in the 75th minute of the match. 彭森银 could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 76th minute of the match, but Nacho Gonzalez made a huge save. Nacho Gonzalez showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Miguel Rodríguez in the 84th minute of the match. 86 minutes into the match, El Gallo de Moron's goalkeeper Nacho Gonzalez had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by 彭森银. 88 minutes into the match, El Gallo de Moron's goal looked a bit too open when 彭森银 came free, but Nacho Gonzalez reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling 彭森银 in the 90th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Nacho Gonzalez prevented the ball from getting in the gole. In the 92nd minute, SC Pfullendorf's 彭森银 ran free of his marker and smoothly shot the ball into the goal behind Nacho Gonzalez. Nacho Gonzalez yelled at his defense, as they had left him out to dry. 1-3. El Gallo de Moron's Pierre Le Saint was substituted for Luisinho Laguna. The SC Pfullendorf supporters could be heard counting down the last seconds of the match. They errupted in celebration when the whistle blew, knowing SC Pfullendorf would go home with victory in their luggage after a match that easily could have ended differently.
