Spectators: 36 (Terracing: 28, Seating: 8, VIP seats: 0) Miguel Van Mechelen started the match with the kick off in front of an excited audience. After 3 played minutes YR Mechelen got a freekick which was hit by Tobias Smidts. An unexpectedly hard shot by Andries Mangelschot in the 9th minute of play forced Tekken F.C.'s goalkeeper Enzo Di Dio to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. In the 10th minute of the match YR Mechelen got a corner. Tekken F.C.'s goalie ran out to the linesman to protest the call, but the linesman resolutely pointed his flag at the cornerflag. Adolphe De Maerschalckx ran over to the corner to take the kick. A well done corner resulted in Leo Van Mechelen drilling the ball in to score 0-1 behind Tekken F.C.'s goalkeeper. The audience was convinced that Andries Mangelschot's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Enzo Di Dio was relentless in the 15th minute of the game. When the match clock showed 18 minutes, the score became 0-2 when Andries Mangelschot sped through Tekken F.C.'s defense and sent away a curving shot that went into the net to the right of Enzo Di Dio. An unexpectedly hard shot by Andries Mangelschot in the 24th minute of play forced Tekken F.C.'s goalkeeper Enzo Di Dio to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Andries Mangelschot during the 27th minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. After 27 played minutes YR Mechelen got a freekick which was hit by Andries Mangelschot. Camillo Pellicciotta hit a great freekick 29 minutes into the match. Abraham Van Linthoud made a fantastic save in the 31st minute, when Augusto Pagliuca sent off a good shot on target. Abraham Van Linthoud showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Fabiano Coscarella, who was totally free with the ball in the 32nd minute. After 34 minutes of play, YR Mechelen's Andries Mangelschot made it 0-4 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Enzo Di Dio was left in no man's land by his defense there! Enzo Di Dio took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Andries Mangelschot, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. In the 46th minute, Fabiano Coscarella made a precise shot to the right of Abraham Van Linthoud. YR Mechelen's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 1-5. Luck had favoured the away team in the first, and they walked off with a 1-5 lead.

The wind increased when Augusto Pagliuca made the kick off in the second half. 51 minutes into the match, Tekken F.C.'s goal looked a bit too open when Andries Mangelschot came free, but Enzo Di Dio reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. After a defensive mix-up in Tekken F.C.'s zone, Andries Mangelschot stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Enzo Di Dio came out of the goal and Andries Mangelschot tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Augusto Pagliuca struck a weak shot in the 57th minute. Abraham Van Linthoud didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Tekken F.C.. Andries Mangelschot sent away a hard shot on goal in the 60th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. The crowd rose to their feet as Joop Leemans kicked a wonderful shot that went in to the left of a diving Enzo Di Dio. That made the score 1-6 in the 65 minute of play. Enzo Di Dio came out of the goal in the 74th minute to try and stop a shot by YR Mechelen's Andries Mangelschot. But to his dismay, Andries Mangelschot quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 1-8. Enzo Di Dio made an important save on a dangerous shot by Andries Mangelschot in the 77th minute. The supporters of YR Mechelen booed when Tekken F.C. was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 81 match minutes in a wonderful position. Camillo Pellicciotta didn't get a good kick on the ball. Adolphe De Maerschalckx, 82 minutes into the match, dribbled the ball up the side of the field and decided to take a long shot at the goal. Unfortunately, the ball was poorly hit and landed closer to the corner than to the goal. The throw-in from Antonello Chiarelli in the 86th minute of the game was unfortunally taken care of by YR Mechelen's Tobias Smidts. In the 87th minute, Andries Mangelschot left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The YR Mechelen fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 1-9. Miguel Van Mechelen hit a great freekick 90 minutes into the match. The audience thought a goal was coming when Andries Mangelschot got free with Enzo Di Dio in the 93rd minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. When the final whistle sounded YR Mechelen left the ground with the victory after a much better performance than Tekken F.C..
