After a defensive mix-up in Morteros's zone, Lucho Aguiar stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Marco Santo came out of the goal and Lucho Aguiar tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. 26 minutes into the match, Real de Carmelo 2021 FC's goal looked a bit too open when Isauro Sota came free, but Richie Cagigal reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Lucho Aguiars short, quick shot in the 29thth minute got Marco Santo to make great effort and bar the ball away from getting in. When the match clock showed 95 minutes, the score became 6-1 when Larry Estoyanoff sped through Morteros's defense and sent away a curving shot that went into the net to the right of Marco Santo.
