The audience thought a goal was coming when Andre-Yann Dospel got free with Edoardo Mauro in the 5th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. In the 8th minute of the match Wambalamba FC got a corner. Villa di Molvena FC's goalie ran out to the linesman to protest the call, but the linesman resolutely pointed his flag at the cornerflag. Brian Finnman ran over to the corner to take the kick. Wambalamba FC's Brian Finnman was first on the ball when the corner was shot and he dangerously headed the ball towards goal, but Edoardo Mauro in the goal jumped up to prevent it from getting in. Through an outstanding action, after 17 minutes, Edoardo Mauro successfully got his hands on the ball before it slid into the goal at the right post. In the 21st minute, João Carlos Vianna left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The Wambalamba FC fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 2-0. Edoardo Mauro made a fantastic save in the 24th minute, when Juarês Donato sent off a good shot on target. Cris Courtois took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Fabiano Mattei, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. In the 30th minute Villa di Molvena FC were awarded a corner. Ferdinando Pacella went to the cornerflag to take it. Fabiano Mattei was in a good position and managed to take a shot, but he missed just to the outside of the post. With his leg Edoardo Mauro managed to avoid a goal in the 32ndth minute, when Wambalamba FC's Robin Steckamp fired away a shot with a lot of spin towards his right hand side. Robin Steckamp who was well placed in front of the goal fired away a dangerous shot that in the 33rdth minute tested the skills of Edoardo Mauro when he managed to save the team from getting behind. Edoardo Mauro made a fantastic save in the 34th minute, when Juarês Donato sent off a good shot on target. The audience thought a goal was coming when Robin Steckamp got free with Edoardo Mauro in the 39th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. When Kusti Rääk came up free with the goalie in the 41st minute, the Villa di Molvena FC fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Kusti Rääk couldn't finish the play. The supporters of Wambalamba FC booed when Villa di Molvena FC was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 44 match minutes in a wonderful position. Kusti Rääk didn't get a good kick on the ball. Cris Courtois took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Kusti Rääk, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. The away team players looked dejected as the walked off the pitch at half time. They had fought hard, but were still losing 2-0.

Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Alexis Sánchez to make the kick off. Edoardo Mauro made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Juarês Donato in the 50th minute of play. 53 minutes into the match, Villa di Molvena FC's goal looked a bit too open when João Carlos Vianna came free, but Edoardo Mauro reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Edoardo Mauro showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Robin Steckamp in the 58th minute of the match. If Kusti Rääk had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 60th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. The audience was convinced that Juarês Donato's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Edoardo Mauro was relentless in the 64th minute of the game. In the 66th minute, Juarês Donato made a precise shot to the right of Edoardo Mauro. Villa di Molvena FC's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 3-0. In the 70th minute, Brian Finnman ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Edoardo Mauro was frozen by the shot and now it was 4-0. When the match had gone on for 81 minutes, Robin Steckamp put it in 6-0 from a short distance just to the right of Edoardo Mauro. A hard shot 85 in the game by Fabiano Mattei from a close distance when the talented Cris Courtois managed to make a qualified save. Wambalamba FC's players were relieved. Edoardo Mauro showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from João Carlos Vianna in the 87th minute of the match. Wambalamba FC's Cris Courtois proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 93rd minute of the match, managed to save Wambalamba FC from getting a goal against them. Edoardo Mauro came out of the goal in the 96th minute to try and stop a shot by Wambalamba FC's Juarês Donato. But to his dismay, Juarês Donato quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 7-0. Wambalamba FC's supporters were highly satisfied with the result. They cheered their team of the pitch, having watched them win a very even match.
