The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Genaro Quiroga made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Hardi Lind in the 38th minute of play. Genaro Quiroga showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Hardi Lind in the 39th minute of the match. Hardi Lind got in the 45th a clear chance and fired away a hard shot against goal, but Genaro Quiroga handled the situation perfectly and made a save by the crossbar. After 45 minutes, Hardi Lind made it 0-1 with a short kick to the right side. River Plate's Genaro Quiroga tried to save the shot but he was too slow in reacting to the shot. The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Arno Luuk stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. Genaro Quiroga was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. When the match was over FC Dundee could go home with a victory in their luggage, having controlled the game far better than River Plate throughout the match.
