Eugeniusz Walec dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 0-2. Eugeniusz Walec took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Xacintu Ribeiro, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. After 22 minutes of play, Atlético Bucaramanga's Xacintu Ribeiro made it 0-3 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Eugeniusz Walec was left in no man's land by his defense there! 26 minutes into the game, Rony Sergipano was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Brand United's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Atlético Bucaramanga the free kick. In the 93rd minute Hernando Harroyo shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Eugeniusz Walec saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. In the 95th minute, Hernando Harroyo made a precise shot to the right of Eugeniusz Walec. Brand United's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 0-12. Atlético Bucaramanga's fans were overjoyed with their teams well-earned victory and stayed in the stadium long after the final whistle to celebrate the win.
