In the 24th minute Elmar Lexbo shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Yanko Pirov saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Elmar Lexbo's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Yanko Pirov read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 28th minute of play. Holmkjar Hotspurs's Claes Katsir managed, thanks to a brazen rush, stole the ball on a throw-in made by Tauro Amorebieta in the 30 minute of the game. The tension between the GHOSTFACES IN OURENSE and the Holmkjar Hotspurs players grew even worse after the yellow card.
