Spectators: 40 (Terracing: 31, Seating: 9, VIP seats: 0) Bacardi FC's Roni Coryn started the match with a crisp pass. The crowd had been anticipating this game for weeks and the excitement in the stadium was easily visible. 2 minutes into the match, Roni Coryn notched a goal, 1-0, to the right of Palmeiras de Plantão's Cido Meireles. Cido Meireles was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. In the 5th minute the ball was on its way in behind Palmeiras de Plantão's goalkeeper Cido Meireles, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. 9 minutes had been played when some careless play by Palmeiras de Plantão's defense caused the ball to cross the line for a corner. Bob Leerbels was slow to take the kick. During this time Bacardi FC's players had a chance to rest. Bacardi FC's Leo Dauwen played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Gabriel de Almeida in the 11th minute of play. The supporters of Palmeiras de Plantão booed when Bacardi FC was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 13 match minutes in a wonderful position. Bob Leerbels didn't get a good kick on the ball. After 15 minutes of play, Palmeiras de Plantão's Helge Almkvist made it 1-1 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Leo Dauwen was left in no man's land by his defense there! Eeng Kuswanto could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 17th minute of the match, but Cido Meireles made a huge save. In a very dangerous position, a player in Palmeiras de Plantão fell when an opponent tried to get the ball from him in the 19th minute. Penalty! Cido Meireles had in the 20thth minute some difficulties stopping Roni Coryn's well aimed penalty as it nearly passed him on his left side, but he still managed to hold the ball. Cido Meireles stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Roni Coryn's shot from short distance in the 22nd minute. Roni Coryn in the 25thth minute had a little luck and got a chance for a shot in front of the goal. Without hesitation aimed to the right of Cido Meireles, who managed to lunge to the right direction and made a save. Roni Coryn's shot when he came free in front of the goal in the 28thth minute, Cido Meireles skillfully showed off with a save to what seemed to be an obvious goal. When Bacardi FC's Roni Coryn in the 29th minute got a chance for a shot 29th didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. The corner led Bacardi FC's Bob Leerbels to fire away a dangerous shot which Cido Meireles despite some difficulties managed to get hold on the ball. 35 minutes into the game, Bacardi FC's Roni Coryn nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Cido Meireles made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 2-1. Palmeiras de Plantão's attacker deliberately struck the ball against an opponent to win a corner for his team. The corner was taken by Haroldo Fonseca in the 39th minute. 41 minutes into the match, Palmeiras de Plantão's Helge Almkvist sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Leo Dauwen narrowly saved just below the crossbar. A collision led to Bacardi FC getting a freekick after 42 minutes play. Roy Voet hit a great ball. Roni Coryn who was well placed in front of the goal fired away a dangerous shot that in the 45thth minute tested the skills of Cido Meireles when he managed to save the team from getting behind. The home fans were very happy to see their team leading 2-1 at half-time.

When Bacardi FC's Roni Coryn in the 52nd minute got a chance for a shot 52nd didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. A beautiful save bye Palmeiras de Plantão's goalie prevented a goal. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Roni Coryn in the 61st minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Cido Meireles prevented the ball from getting in the gole. Bacardi FC made a substitution. Paul-Louis Van Mechelen replaced Bob Leerbels. In the 71stth minute of the game Roni Coryn who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Palmeiras de Plantão's Cido Meireles was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. After 72nd play minutes Roni Coryn shot 3-2, a short shot which went by Cido Meireles and just under the crossbar into goal. In the 78th minute Bacardi FC were awarded a corner. Charlie Vercalsteren went to the cornerflag to take it. Eeng Kuswanto was in a good position and managed to take a shot, but he missed just to the outside of the post. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Roni Coryn in the 85th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Cido Meireles saved Palmeiras de Plantão from getting behind. An unexpectedly hard shot by Arnoud Van Gestel in the 86th minute of play forced Palmeiras de Plantão's goalkeeper Cido Meireles to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. After a rather tough play, Palmeiras de Plantão's Helge Almkvist got a free kick in the 89th minute. Roni Coryn might have been able to make a better finish in the 91st minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Cido Meireles. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Roni Coryn ran back to his position shaking his head. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Roni Coryn in the 92nd managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Cido Meireles saved Palmeiras de Plantão from getting behind. The audience was convinced that Roni Coryn's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Cido Meireles was relentless in the 93rd minute of the game. Bacardi FC were really happy, having secured the victory after a very even contest. They thanked the players of Palmeiras de Plantão for a fine match.
