Codruț Hanganu showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Göran Cane, who was totally free with the ball in the 6th minute. Codruț Hanganu took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Göran Cane, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. An unexpectedly hard shot by Astor Haimar in the 12th minute of play forced Svartvallstjärnens IF's goalkeeper Linus Ahlquist to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. 13 minutes into the match, White&Blue Lions-Stiinta-'s goal looked a bit too open when Göran Cane came free, but Codruț Hanganu reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. With a little luck, Svartvallstjärnens IF's Linus Ahlquist got control of the ball when Diego Sánchez tried to sneak it across the goal line. The White&Blue Lions-Stiinta- fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Codruț Hanganu should have stopped the shot. After the first half Svartvallstjärnens IF were leading 0-1. They had played with great self confidence throughout the first half and fully deserved their lead.

The wind increased when Göran Cane made the kick off in the second half. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Göran Cane in the 53rd managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Codruț Hanganu saved White&Blue Lions-Stiinta- from getting behind. Codruț Hanganu made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Göran Cane in the 55th minute of play. Thiago Castelao kicked well hit freekick during the 57th minute of the match. Göran Cane fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 61st minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Codruț Hanganu having to interfere. Svartvallstjärnens IF's Villiam Marklund was substituted for Tore Svartström. Svartvallstjärnens IF's Mats Ljusberg was substituted for Edvin Lindholm. Linus Ahlquist made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Astor Haimar in the 64th minute of play.
