Sandro Cavareda stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Yu Bing Hong's shot from short distance in the 9th minute. Wang Feng recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 12th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Sandro Cavareda came out of the goal in the 14th minute to try and stop a shot by Rossangeles's Yu Bing Hong. But to his dismay, Yu Bing Hong quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 1-0. The supporters of AFC Richmond booed when Rossangeles was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 18 match minutes in a wonderful position. Pete Maverick didn't get a good kick on the ball. The audience was convinced that Yu Bing Hong's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Sandro Cavareda was relentless in the 21st minute of the game. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Yu Bing Hong in the 23rd managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Sandro Cavareda saved AFC Richmond from getting behind. Jiang Bing Ning didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Fernando Tolhauzsen went, in the 24th minute, to the upper right corner, 1-1 was the resulting score. A collision led to AFC Richmond getting a freekick after 27 minutes play. Gustavo Martiarena hit a great ball. After 28 minutes, Yu Bing Hong made it 2-1 with a short kick to the right side. AFC Richmond's Sandro Cavareda tried to save the shot but he was too slow in reacting to the shot. In the 31st minute Yu Bing Hong shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Sandro Cavareda saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. After some fancy dribbling in the 34th minute, Jeremie Hendrickx managed to get in a good position for a shot. Rossangeles's supporters rose to their feet, but Jeremie Hendrickx was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Sandro Cavareda breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. A collision led to AFC Richmond getting a freekick after 42 minutes play. Rafael Maria Cousiño hit a great ball. In the 43rd minute of the match, Jeremie Hendrickx tried to roll the ball into the goal by the right post, but Sandro Cavareda saw his intentions and got control of the ball before it passed the line. An unexpectedly hard shot by Yu Bing Hong in the 45th minute of play forced AFC Richmond's goalkeeper Sandro Cavareda to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. 46 minutes into the match, AFC Richmond's goalkeeper Sandro Cavareda had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Wang Feng. Through an outstanding action, after 48 minutes, Sandro Cavareda successfully got his hands on the ball before it slid into the goal at the right post. All the noise was coming from the home fans when the whistle went for half-time. The home team had fought hardest to put themselves in a deserved lead.
When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Emiel Pinksteren made a kick off. In the 54th minute Yu Bing Hong shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Sandro Cavareda saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Yu Bing Hong in the 56th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Sandro Cavareda prevented the ball from getting in the gole. Rossangeles's attacker deliberately struck the ball against an opponent to win a corner for his team. The corner was taken by Yu Bing Hong in the 56th minute. The corner led Rossangeles's Yu Bing Hong to fire away a dangerous shot which Sandro Cavareda despite some difficulties managed to get hold on the ball. After 60 minutes of play, Rossangeles's Jeremie Hendrickx made it 4-1 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Sandro Cavareda was left in no man's land by his defense there! Yu Bing Hong kicked well hit freekick during the 62nd minute of the match. After a rather tough play, Rossangeles's Yu Bing Hong got a free kick in the 64th minute. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Yu Bing Hong in the 68th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Sandro Cavareda saved AFC Richmond from getting behind. In the 70th minute Jeremie Hendrickx shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Sandro Cavareda saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Sandro Cavareda showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Yu Bing Hong in the 71st minute of the match. Felipe Hernández kicked well hit freekick during the 76th minute of the match. In the 77th minute, Felipe Hernández hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Joaquin Ponte in the 79th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Sandro Cavareda saved AFC Richmond from getting behind. A collision led to AFC Richmond getting a freekick after 79 minutes play. Saturnino Aburto hit a great ball. Joaquin Ponte struck a weak shot in the 80th minute. Sandro Cavareda didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Rossangeles. 82 minutes into the game, Aníbal Marraccini recieved a splendid long ball, split the defenders, and gently placed the ball to the left of Jiang Bing Ning. Aníbal Marraccini showed that you don't have to tear a hole in the net to score, 4-2. The audience was convinced that Joaquin Ponte's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Sandro Cavareda was relentless in the 86th minute of the game. In the 88th match minute, Rossangeles was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Attilio Bice to maneuver through the defense. Sandro Cavareda stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Joaquin Ponte's shot from short distance in the 93rd minute. For all the effort they put into the match, the AFC Richmond players left disappointed. They had fought hard, but couldn't break down the home team's defense. The match ended in a win for Rossangeles.
