Joe Herring blasted a shot towards the goal in the 15th minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Wilmer Gallo having to make a save. An unexpectedly hard shot by Joe Herring in the 15th minute of play forced Retumbante FC's goalkeeper Wilmer Gallo to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Joe Herring in the 16th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Wilmer Gallo prevented the ball from getting in the gole. Valencia C.F.'s attacker deliberately struck the ball against an opponent to win a corner for his team. The corner was taken by Guillermo Farré in the 18th minute. The corner ended in Guillermo Farré almost managing to get the ball behind the net, but Retumbante FC's Wilmer Gallo did a great save. In the 20thth minute of the game Décio Antonio who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Valencia C.F.'s Jerry Lodge was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. Jerry Lodge showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Belmiro Mello, who was totally free with the ball in the 24th minute. With a little luck, Valencia C.F.'s Jerry Lodge got control of the ball when Kauã Mandrak tried to sneak it across the goal line. Luiz Fernando Mota hit a great freekick 27 minutes into the match. Wilmer Gallo made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Joe Herring in the 31st minute of play. The supporters of Retumbante FC booed when Valencia C.F. was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 32 match minutes in a wonderful position. 冯剑昆 didn't get a good kick on the ball. Jerry Lodge was in exellent shape and made a fantastic save when he, in the 32nd minute of the match, managed to get hold of the ball after a long shot from Kauã Mandrak. 34 minutes into the match, Valencia C.F.'s goalkeeper Jerry Lodge had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Kauã Mandrak. Wilmer Gallo took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Joe Herring, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. After a very even first half the match was still tied. The players went to their respective dressing rooms to discuss the tactics for the second half.

The wind increased when Kauã Mandrak made the kick off in the second half. 51 minutes into the match, Retumbante FC's goal looked a bit too open when Joe Herring came free, but Wilmer Gallo reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Jerry Lodge showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Décio Antonio in the 53rd minute of the match. Naldo Sabóia hit a great freekick 54 minutes into the match. In the 57th minute, Kauã Mandrak hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. If Oliver Bean had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 61st minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. An unexpectedly hard shot by Belmiro Mello in the 72nd minute of play forced Valencia C.F.'s goalkeeper Jerry Lodge to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Joe Herring fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 80th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Wilmer Gallo having to interfere.
