The corner ended in Guy Jourdan almost managing to get the ball behind the net, but The Cavern Club's Vladimir Prestes did a great save. No-one was surprised that the home team were leading 2-0 at half-time.

The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Arif Çelebi Ergener was the one to do the kick off. In the 55th minute of the match, Faustin Hamet got a very nice opportunity to score, but Vladimir Prestes was well-placed and pushed the ball away from the goal at the left post. 61 minutes into the match, The Cavern Club's goal looked a bit too open when Arif Çelebi Ergener came free, but Vladimir Prestes reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line.
