The crowd had been anticipating this game for weeks and the excitement in the stadium was easily visible. Theodor Adorno showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Babbis Aggeliadis in the 5th minute of the match. 9 minutes into the game, West Staines Massive's Mei Wei Li nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Sverker Fanström made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 0-1. After a rather tough play, West Staines Massive's Florian Galaska got a free kick in the 11th minute. An unexpectedly hard shot by Babbis Aggeliadis in the 12th minute of play forced West Staines Massive's goalkeeper Theodor Adorno to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Sverker Fanström took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Mei Wei Li, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. When Przemyslaw Popowicz fell near the penalty area in the 16th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Sanderlend's protests and gave Przemyslaw Popowicz a yellow card for diving instead. The referee blew the whistle for a penalty in the 16th minute of the game. One of Sanderlend:s players had nearly got his shirt torn off by an opponent while getting free in front of West Staines Massive:s goal. Sverker Fanström made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Lucas Mårtensson in the 20th minute of play. In the 37thth minute of the game Kong Gang Feng who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Sanderlend's Sverker Fanström was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. Sverker Fanström stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Kong Gang Feng's shot from short distance in the 37th minute. Babbis Aggeliadis took the ball and in the 39 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Theodor Adorno. Theodor Adorno dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 1-2. After some fancy dribbling in the 42nd minute, Lucas Mårtensson managed to get in a good position for a shot. West Staines Massive's supporters rose to their feet, but Lucas Mårtensson was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Sverker Fanström breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. 46 minutes into the match, Babbis Aggeliadis dribbled the ball past the defender and swiftly kicked the ball to the left of Theodor Adorno, 2-2. The first half was very even, with the score at 2-2 when the whistle went for half-time. The players welcomed the break and quickly retired to the dressing rooms.
When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Babbis Aggeliadis made a kick off. Theodor Adorno showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Babbis Aggeliadis, who was totally free with the ball in the 53rd minute. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Babbis Aggeliadis in the 56th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Theodor Adorno prevented the ball from getting in the gole. Sanderlend's Sverker Fanström proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 58th minute of the match, managed to save Sanderlend from getting a goal against them. In the 59th match minute, West Staines Massive was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Saul Gaitano to maneuver through the defense. In the 62nd minute Lucas Mårtensson shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Sverker Fanström saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. In the 64th minute, Babbis Aggeliadis got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. Sanderlend's Gwidon Zbydniewski was substituted for Babbis Aggeliadis. Sanderlend made a substitution. Daniel Passarelli replaced Severin Begić. After a rather tough play, Sanderlend's Islam Šimić got a free kick in the 67th minute. In the 68th minute, Sanderlend's Brahim Ben Khalidi seemed to kick out at an opponent. The referee saw this and, surprisingly, showed Brahim Ben Khalidi the red card, dismissing him from the pitch. The coaching staff of Sanderlend protested bitterly, but the referee would have none of it, and Brahim Ben Khalidi had no choice but to slowly walk off the pitch. When the match had been going on for 70 minutes, West Staines Massive's Mei Wei Li got an opportunity to shoot a penalty. He stayed cool and waited for the goalkeeper to move, before he confidently shot the ball into the goal, to the left of Sverker Fanström. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Kong Gang Feng in the 75th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Sverker Fanström saved Sanderlend from getting behind. 76 minutes into the match, West Staines Massive's goal looked a bit too open when Gwidon Zbydniewski came free, but Theodor Adorno reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Sverker Fanström made a fantastic save in the 79th minute, when Lucas Mårtensson sent off a good shot on target. In the 86th minute, one of Sanderlend:s players had the ball in front of the goal but got pushed and fell. The referee felt it was an obvious case and blew a penalty for Sanderlend. Theodor Adorno showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Gwidon Zbydniewski, who was totally free with the ball in the 89th minute. If Gwidon Zbydniewski had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 94th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. 96 minutes into the match, West Staines Massive's goal looked a bit too open when Gwidon Zbydniewski came free, but Theodor Adorno reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. In the 100th minute, Gwidon Zbydniewski made a precise shot to the right of Theodor Adorno. West Staines Massive's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 3-3. The West Staines Massive players were the happier at the end of the match as they had prevented Sanderlend from taking control. The game ends in a draw.
