Per-Erik Martinsson received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 3rd minute. Robinho Alcântara tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. The audience thought a goal was coming when Wilhelm Askelöf got free with Robinho Alcântara in the 6th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. 8 minutes into the match, Karl-Erik Dahlberg notched a goal, 1-0, to the right of Cachaceiros FC's Robinho Alcântara. Robinho Alcântara was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. In the 12th match minute, Stardust Unicorns XI was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Rudolf Larsfält to maneuver through the defense. When Cachaceiros FC's Ruy Azevedo in the 13th minute got a chance for a shot 13th didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. He then quickly gripped the ball tighter before the forwards in Cachaceiros FC reached it. Robinho Alcântara was out of position in the 18 minute of play, and Karl-Åke Bock capitalized on the mistake with a soft shot into the goal. Karl-Åke Bock really showed his touch with that goal: 2-0. When Per-Erik Martinsson came up free with the goalie in the 23rd minute, the Stardust Unicorns XI fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Per-Erik Martinsson couldn't finish the play. Karl-Erik Dahlberg sent away a hard shot on goal in the 25th minute, but the ball hit the crossbar and went out. A very good chance for a goal. Karl-Erik Dahlberg could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 29th minute of the match, but Robinho Alcântara made a huge save. If Wilhelm Askelöf had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 37th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. If Karl-Åke Bock had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 39th minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. In the 42nd match minute, Stardust Unicorns XI was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Rudolf Larsfält to maneuver through the defense. No-one was surprised that the home team were leading 2-0 at half-time.

Rudolf Larsfält hit a great freekick 52 minutes into the match. In the 59th minute, Karl-Erik Dahlberg got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. In the 64th minute Wilhelm Askelöf shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Robinho Alcântara saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Robinho Alcântara showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Wilhelm Askelöf, who was totally free with the ball in the 71st minute. The audience was convinced that Wilhelm Askelöf's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Robinho Alcântara was relentless in the 80th minute of the game. Stardust Unicorns XI's Karl-Åke Bock got a good chance for a goal in the 84th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Osmar Santos fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 94th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Manfred Wallin having to interfere. There was no doubt that Stardust Unicorns XI were the better team. Stardust Unicorns XI's players enjoyed the ovations of the crowd after the victory.
