In the 5th minute of the match Yala got a corner. Mszczyczyn's goalie ran out to the linesman to protest the call, but the linesman resolutely pointed his flag at the cornerflag. Marcial Lore ran over to the corner to take the kick. The audience thought a goal was coming when Freddy Valentine got free with András Erdélyi in the 6th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. Pedro Firman showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Zygmunt Pietrowicz, who was totally free with the ball in the 8th minute. In the 9thth minute of the game Zygmunt Pietrowicz who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Yala's Pedro Firman was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. 12 minutes into the match, Yala's goal looked a bit too open when Zygmunt Pietrowicz came free, but Pedro Firman reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. An unexpectedly hard shot by Zygmunt Pietrowicz in the 22nd minute of play forced Yala's goalkeeper Pedro Firman to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. 24 minutes into the match, Yala's goal looked a bit too open when Mikolaj Kicia came free, but Pedro Firman reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. After 28 played minutes Mszczyczyn got a freekick which was hit by Jacek Wolniewicz. Kristopher Le Saux sent away a hard shot on goal in the 31st minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Pedro Firman showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Mikolaj Kicia, who was totally free with the ball in the 33rd minute. An unexpectedly hard shot by Zygmunt Pietrowicz in the 37th minute of play forced Yala's goalkeeper Pedro Firman to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. 40 minutes into the match, Yala's goal looked a bit too open when Devlet İşcan came free, but Pedro Firman reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. After 41 played minutes Mszczyczyn got a freekick which was hit by Jacek Wolniewicz. Marcial Lore recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 42nd minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Pedro Firman showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Mikolaj Kicia, who was totally free with the ball in the 46th minute. After the first half the score was level. The break gave the players a chance to catch their breath, whilst the managers went over the tactics with them again.

The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Devlet İşcan stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. Yala's Pedro Firman played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Zygmunt Pietrowicz in the 56th minute of play. The audience thought a goal was coming when Devlet İşcan got free with Pedro Firman in the 59th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. Yala's Pedro Firman played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Mikolaj Kicia in the 60th minute of play. In the 65th minute, Kristopher Le Saux left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The Yala fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 1-0. In the 69th minute Kristopher Le Saux shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but András Erdélyi saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. András Erdélyi showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Kristopher Le Saux in the 70th minute of the match. An unexpectedly hard shot by Devlet İşcan in the 71st minute of play forced Yala's goalkeeper Pedro Firman to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. If Arnaud Konieczny had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 73rd minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Pedro Firman showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Mikolaj Kicia, who was totally free with the ball in the 76th minute. Pedro Firman stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Devlet İşcan's shot from short distance in the 85th minute. If Kristopher Le Saux had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 86th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. After 91 played minutes Mszczyczyn got a freekick which was hit by Herbert Petka. The Yala support was delighted with a win in a match that could easily have ended differently.
