Vänge IF's Lorien Vilela played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Ata Bircan in the 38th minute of play. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Ata Bircan in the 41st minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Lorien Vilela prevented the ball from getting in the gole. After some careless play in the Vänge IF defense, Raf Vermaelen kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Lorien Vilela. The Vänge IF fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Lorien Vilela should have stopped the shot. If Tytus Lichucki had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 45th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. In the 47th minute Ata Bircan shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Lorien Vilela saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Disappointed in the 0-4 score, the home team went to the dressing room to adjust tactics for the second half.

Ata Bircan's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Lorien Vilela read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 52nd minute of play. Lorien Vilela showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Ata Bircan in the 54th minute of the match. 58 minutes into the match, Ata Bircan had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Lorien Vilela. Vänge IF's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Ata Bircan was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 0-5. 63 minutes into the match, Vänge IF's goal looked a bit too open when Ata Bircan came free, but Lorien Vilela reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. In the 67th minute Ata Bircan shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Lorien Vilela saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Lorien Vilela made an important save on a dangerous shot by Raf Vermaelen in the 69th minute. In the 71st minute, Liverpool F.C. YNWA's Ata Bircan dribbled the ball into the box and hit a shot with the outside of his foot, sending the keeper the wrong way. 0-7. Liverpool F.C. YNWA made a substitution. Tilemachos Romanidis replaced Ata Bircan. Alisson Becker showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Claudinho Lima in the 88th minute of the match. The crowd rose to their feet as Tilemachos Romanidis kicked a wonderful shot that went in to the left of a diving Lorien Vilela. That made the score 0-8 in the 92 minute of play. If Raf Vermaelen had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 95th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Liverpool F.C. YNWA's players went to the stands to thank the travelling support. The fan's backing had helped spurr the team on to a fine performance that won them the match.
