The shot was a little too simple and Krzysztof Oleszak could save by the left post. Leandro Ricoy made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Walery Gonsiewski in the 9th minute of play. In the 10th minute Walery Gonsiewski shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Leandro Ricoy saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Eddie Godholm struck a weak shot in the 16th minute. Krzysztof Oleszak didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Kärnan BK. Krzysztof Oleszak made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Björn Lindqvist in the 18th minute of play. Krzysztof Oleszak made an important save on a dangerous shot by Ernst Ennegren in the 21st minute. Kärnan BK's Roger Strömbom got a good chance for a goal in the 22nd minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Eddie Godholm's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Krzysztof Oleszak read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 25th minute of play. Leandro Ricoy took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Krzysztof Mockiewicz, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. The audience thought a goal was coming when Roger Strömbom got free with Krzysztof Oleszak in the 28th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. Real Zamość's Krzysztof Oleszak played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Eddie Godholm in the 30th minute of play. After 34 minutes of play, Kärnan BK's Roger Strömbom made it 1-0 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Krzysztof Oleszak was left in no man's land by his defense there! Roger Strömbom received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 37th minute. Krzysztof Oleszak tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. After 39 minutes of play, the referee blew the whistle. It was a penalty for Real Zamość! In the 43rd minute of the match Kärnan BK got a corner. Real Zamość's goalie ran out to the linesman to protest the call, but the linesman resolutely pointed his flag at the cornerflag. Bengt Alegren ran over to the corner to take the kick. After 44 played minutes Kärnan BK got a freekick which was hit by Roger Strömbom.

The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for Walery Gonsiewski to strike the kick off in the second half. 51 minutes into the match, Walery Gonsiewski dribbled the ball past the defender and swiftly kicked the ball to the left of Leandro Ricoy, 1-1. In the 55thth minute of the game Eddie Godholm who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Real Zamość's Krzysztof Oleszak was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. Kärnan BK's Eddie Godholm got a good chance for a goal in the 57th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. When Roger Strömbom came up free with the goalie in the 59th minute, the Kärnan BK fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Roger Strömbom couldn't finish the play. 61 minutes into the game, Bror Nordlander was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Kärnan BK's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Real Zamość the free kick. A collision led to Kärnan BK getting a freekick after 61 minutes play. Bror Nordlander hit a great ball. Krzysztof Oleszak stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Eddie Godholm's shot from short distance in the 63rd minute. Leandro Ricoy showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Krzysztof Mockiewicz in the 67th minute of the match. Krzysztof Oleszak showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Roger Strömbom, who was totally free with the ball in the 68th minute. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Janusz Dembkowski during the 69th minute. The player immediately received a yellow card.
