Mieszko Makomaski hit a great freekick 2 minutes into the match. Joel Catarinense received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 3rd minute. Lucjan Tscherner tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. 7 minutes into the game, Galo do Japi's Joel Catarinense nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Lucjan Tscherner made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 0-1. Delfim Chaves made an important save on a dangerous shot by Ignacy Fedosz in the 10th minute. A sloppy throw-in by Walery Tokarczyk in the 11th minute of the game went astray and was snapped up by Galo do Japi's Zé Paulo Rossi. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Joel Catarinense in the 20th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Lucjan Tscherner prevented the ball from getting in the gole. In the 21st minute the ball was on its way in behind Galo do Japi's goalkeeper Delfim Chaves, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. Działki Leśne Gdynia's attacker deliberately struck the ball against an opponent to win a corner for his team. The corner was taken by Walery Tokarczyk in the 23rd minute. Działki Leśne Gdynia's Walery Tokarczyk was first on the ball when the corner was shot and he dangerously headed the ball towards goal, but Delfim Chaves in the goal jumped up to prevent it from getting in. 26 minutes into the match, Cyprian Sroki had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Delfim Chaves. Galo do Japi's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Cyprian Sroki was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 1-1. When Galo do Japi's Joel Catarinense in the 31st minute got a chance for a shot 31st didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. A beautiful save bye Działki Leśne Gdynia's goalie prevented a goal. 33 minutes into the game, Galo do Japi's Joel Catarinense nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Lucjan Tscherner made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 1-2. When Falcão Duarte came up free with the goalie in the 36th minute, the Galo do Japi fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Falcão Duarte couldn't finish the play. Joel Catarinense recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 47th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Even after changing tactics the home team jogged off the field with a 1-2 deficit. They would have to work harder if they wanted to turn things around in the second half.

Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Cyprian Sroki to make the kick off. In the 51st minute Ignacy Fedosz shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Delfim Chaves saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Joel Catarinense received a nice pass, split the defenders, and ran untouched towards the goal. Lucjan Tscherner came out and tried to block the shot, but Joel Catarinense slotted it home off the left post making it 1-3 in the 53rd minute. With his leg Lucjan Tscherner managed to avoid a goal in the 63rdth minute, when Galo do Japi's Joel Catarinense fired away a shot with a lot of spin towards his right hand side. After 66th play minutes Joel Catarinense shot 1-6, a short shot which went by Lucjan Tscherner and just under the crossbar into goal. Wilfredo Cefero sent away a hard shot on goal in the 70th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. In the 72nd match minute, Galo do Japi was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Marcelinho Sarmento to maneuver through the defense. Joel Catarinense blasted a shot towards the goal in the 74th minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Lucjan Tscherner having to make a save. Joel Catarinense was really disappointed when he shot the ball just outside the right post instead of scoring a goal in the 78th minute. Galo do Japi's manager could be seen on the sidelines shaking his head and muttering to himself as his team had just wasted another chance. Lucjan Tscherner made a fantastic save in the 78th minute, when Wilfredo Cefero sent off a good shot on target. 80 minutes into the match, Galo do Japi's Joel Catarinense sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Lucjan Tscherner narrowly saved just below the crossbar. In the 81st minute Galo do Japi were awarded a corner. Falcão Duarte went to the cornerflag to take it. Falcão Duarte kicked well hit freekick during the 87th minute of the match. After 88 played minutes Działki Leśne Gdynia got a freekick which was hit by Ignacy Fedosz. In the 91st minute, Joel Catarinense got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. The Działki Leśne Gdynia supporters were disappointed that their team didn't take anything from the match, despite matching Galo do Japi's performance. The match ended with a win for Galo do Japi.
