An unexpectedly hard shot by Dalmacio Onbera in the 12th minute of play forced Fotbal Club Otelul Galati's goalkeeper Nechifor Păunescu to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Vali Cucu received a nice pass, split the defenders, and ran untouched towards the goal. Geronimo Argi came out and tried to block the shot, but Vali Cucu slotted it home off the left post making it 1-0 in the 20th minute. 25 minutes into the match, André Maraschin notched a goal, 1-1, to the right of Fotbal Club Otelul Galati's Nechifor Păunescu. Nechifor Păunescu was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. An unexpectedly hard shot by André Maraschin in the 29th minute of play forced Fotbal Club Otelul Galati's goalkeeper Nechifor Păunescu to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Geronimo Argi made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Vali Cucu in the 33rd minute of play. Geronimo Argi showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Vali Cucu in the 35th minute of the match. In the 38thth minute of the game André Maraschin who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Fotbal Club Otelul Galati's Nechifor Păunescu was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. Nechifor Păunescu showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from André Maraschin, who was totally free with the ball in the 39th minute. Nechifor Păunescu came out of the goal in the 40th minute to try and stop a shot by LVCVS AVGVSTI's André Maraschin. But to his dismay, André Maraschin quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 1-2. Cezar Cucu could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 47th minute of the match, but Geronimo Argi made a huge save.

The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Gelu Alexandrescu was the one to do the kick off. If André Maraschin had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 57th minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. Fotbal Club Otelul Galati's Nechifor Păunescu played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by André Maraschin in the 57th minute of play. Nechifor Păunescu showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from André Maraschin, who was totally free with the ball in the 59th minute. The supporters of LVCVS AVGVSTI booed when Fotbal Club Otelul Galati was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 60 match minutes in a wonderful position. Liviu Şteţ didn't get a good kick on the ball. Geronimo Argi made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Vali Cucu in the 64th minute of play. After some careless play in the LVCVS AVGVSTI defense, Vali Cucu kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Geronimo Argi. The LVCVS AVGVSTI fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Geronimo Argi should have stopped the shot. With a little luck, Fotbal Club Otelul Galati's Nechifor Păunescu got control of the ball when André Maraschin tried to sneak it across the goal line. When LVCVS AVGVSTI's André Maraschin in the 70th minute got a chance for a shot 70th didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. The LVCVS AVGVSTI fans' excitement grew in the 74th match minute when LVCVS AVGVSTI's Lucjan Mis looked to have a clear shot with the ball near the goal. The shot wasn't hard, but the ball still rolled over the goal line to make it 2-3 before the goalkeeper had a chance to intervene. The audience thought a goal was coming when Dalmacio Onbera got free with Nechifor Păunescu in the 77th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. Nechifor Păunescu showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Lucjan Mis, who was totally free with the ball in the 77th minute. LVCVS AVGVSTI's attacker deliberately struck the ball against an opponent to win a corner for his team. The corner was taken by Kacper Mentus in the 78th minute. LVCVS AVGVSTI's Kacper Mentus was first on the ball when the corner was shot and he dangerously headed the ball towards goal, but Nechifor Păunescu in the goal jumped up to prevent it from getting in. Fotbal Club Otelul Galati's Iustin Anghelescu was substituted for Gelu Alexandrescu. Gaudencio Olle kicked well hit freekick during the 85th minute of the match. Nechifor Păunescu made a fantastic save in the 90th minute, when Gaudencio Olle sent off a good shot on target. Lucjan Mis blasted a shot towards the goal in the 92nd minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Nechifor Păunescu having to make a save.
