The long shot by Soheil Mahdavikia in the 8th minute really tested Rıza Vuralhan's skills. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Arash Esmaeeli in the 12th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Rıza Vuralhan saved Strömsbro IF from getting behind. Rıza Vuralhan showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Ali Reza Abdi, who was totally free with the ball in the 18th minute. A collision led to Strömsbro IF getting a freekick after 42 minutes play. Uno Mattsson hit a great ball. The fans had the chance to grab some refreshments as the whistle went for half-time. The score stood at 0-0 after a close first half.

The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Uno Mattsson stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. Red Army's Alvaro Rudolfo proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 52nd minute of the match, managed to save Red Army from getting a goal against them. The teams fought very hard right up to the final whistle. Both sets of players were happy to go away with a draw.
