The Randers A.F.C. fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 0-1. 8 minutes had been played when some careless play by Ponte Riba Dil C.F.'s defense caused the ball to cross the line for a corner. Rodrigo Tome was slow to take the kick. During this time Randers A.F.C.'s players had a chance to rest. In the 10th minute the ball was on its way in behind Ponte Riba Dil C.F.'s goalkeeper Humberto Llorente, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. In the 11th minute of the match Randers A.F.C. got a corner. Ponte Riba Dil C.F.'s goalie ran out to the linesman to protest the call, but the linesman resolutely pointed his flag at the cornerflag. Rodrigo Tome ran over to the corner to take the kick. A nice corner shot did that Rodrigo Tome got away a dangerous shot. Despite this Humberto Llorente quite easily got ahold of the ball to make the save. When Rene Rostholm came up free with the goalie in the 13th minute, the Randers A.F.C. fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Rene Rostholm couldn't finish the play. Rene Rostholm might have been able to make a better finish in the 18th minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Humberto Llorente. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Rene Rostholm ran back to his position shaking his head. In the 18th minute Rene Rostholm shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Humberto Llorente saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. After 20 played minutes Randers A.F.C. got a freekick which was hit by Benjamin Vollmaris. Nichlas Vesterdahl showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Brais Montero, who was totally free with the ball in the 22nd minute. The audience thought a goal was coming when Guilabertus Munoz got free with Nichlas Vesterdahl in the 23rd minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. When the match had gone on for 24 minutes, Rene Rostholm put it in 0-2 from a short distance just to the right of Humberto Llorente. 27 minutes into the match, Ponte Riba Dil C.F.'s goal looked a bit too open when Rene Rostholm came free, but Humberto Llorente reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Randers A.F.C. were awarded a corner in the 28th minute after Ponte Riba Dil C.F.'s defender lost control of the ball, allowing it to roll out over the line. Rodrigo Tome took the corner. The corner ended in Rodrigo Tome almost managing to get the ball behind the net, but Ponte Riba Dil C.F.'s Humberto Llorente did a great save. In the 29th minute, Rene Rostholm left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The Randers A.F.C. fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 0-3. Radim Gola kicked well hit freekick during the 32nd minute of the match. With a little luck, Randers A.F.C.'s Nichlas Vesterdahl got control of the ball when Guilabertus Munoz tried to sneak it across the goal line. 37 minutes into the match, Ponte Riba Dil C.F.'s goal looked a bit too open when Rene Rostholm came free, but Humberto Llorente reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Rene Rostholm scored 0-4 in the 37th match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Humberto Llorente, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. 41 minutes into the match, Ponte Riba Dil C.F.'s goal looked a bit too open when Rene Rostholm came free, but Humberto Llorente reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Humberto Llorente came out of the goal in the 43rd minute to try and stop a shot by Randers A.F.C.'s Rene Rostholm. But to his dismay, Rene Rostholm quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 0-5. The crowd was extremely unhappy with the home team's performance in the first half. They were losing 0-5.

The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Guilabertus Munoz stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. 53 minutes into the match, Rene Rostholm notched a goal, 0-6, to the right of Ponte Riba Dil C.F.'s Humberto Llorente. Humberto Llorente was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. Rene Rostholm's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Humberto Llorente read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 56th minute of play. 61 minutes into the match, Ponte Riba Dil C.F.'s goalkeeper Humberto Llorente had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Rene Rostholm. Rene Rostholm did some fancy footwork in front of goal and succeeded to deceive the defenders so he could slam the ball in 0-7 to the left of a surprised Humberto Llorente 61 minutes into the match. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Rene Rostholm in the 67th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Humberto Llorente prevented the ball from getting in the gole. In the 70th minute, Rene Rostholm ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Humberto Llorente was frozen by the shot and now it was 0-8. Randers A.F.C.'s Nik Frisendal was substituted for Radim Gola. In the 75th minute Rene Rostholm shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Humberto Llorente saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. 78 minutes into the match, Randers A.F.C.'s goal looked a bit too open when Zuri Orbiz came free, but Nichlas Vesterdahl reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Rene Rostholm received a nice pass, split the defenders, and ran untouched towards the goal. Humberto Llorente came out and tried to block the shot, but Rene Rostholm slotted it home off the left post making it 0-9 in the 79th minute. Randers A.F.C. made a substitution. Bruno Steenbeck replaced Rene Rostholm. 83 minutes into the game, Ponte Riba Dil C.F.'s Brais Montero nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Nichlas Vesterdahl made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 1-9. Humberto Llorente showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Bruno Steenbeck in the 87th minute of the match. 89 minutes into the match, Ponte Riba Dil C.F.'s goal looked a bit too open when Bruno Steenbeck came free, but Humberto Llorente reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. The audience was convinced that Bruno Steenbeck's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Humberto Llorente was relentless in the 91st minute of the game. When the match was over Randers A.F.C. could go home with a victory in their luggage, having controlled the game far better than Ponte Riba Dil C.F. throughout the match.
