The crowd had been anticipating this game for weeks and the excitement in the stadium was easily visible. Geralt Wilk was slow to take the kick. During this time Mitschullen SSA's players had a chance to rest. Dobromir Mielak made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Zoltán Hubina in the 8th minute of play. In the 10th minute, Doğuş Öksüz hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Mitschullen SSA's Dobromir Mielak proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 11th minute of the match, managed to save Mitschullen SSA from getting a goal against them. After 14 minutes of play, Mitschullen SSA's Geralt Wilk made it 0-1 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Danail Mitzakov was left in no man's land by his defense there! After some careless play in the Maritza defense, Geralt Wilk kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Danail Mitzakov. The Maritza fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Danail Mitzakov should have stopped the shot. After some fancy dribbling in the 23rd minute, Geralt Wilk managed to get in a good position for a shot. Mitschullen SSA's supporters rose to their feet, but Geralt Wilk was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Danail Mitzakov breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. Dobromir Mielak stood somewhat misplaced when Zoltán Hubina came free in front of goal and shot 1-2 to the left of him in the 24 minute. Zoltán Hubina's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Dobromir Mielak read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 27th minute of play. Dobromir Mielak showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Marin Nikolkov, who was totally free with the ball in the 30th minute. Danail Mitzakov made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Geralt Wilk in the 32nd minute of play. In the 37th minute Geralt Wilk shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Danail Mitzakov saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. An unexpectedly hard shot by Zeng Jing Yue in the 39th minute of play forced Mitschullen SSA's goalkeeper Dobromir Mielak to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Mitschullen SSA's Gustaw Danisiewicz quite brazenly broke a throw-in by Korneliusz Flis, made in the 40th minute of the game. In the 41st match minute, Mitschullen SSA was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Fryderyk Drab to maneuver through the defense. With a little luck, Mitschullen SSA's Dobromir Mielak got control of the ball when Marin Nikolkov tried to sneak it across the goal line. Even after changing tactics the home team jogged off the field with a 1-2 deficit. They would have to work harder if they wanted to turn things around in the second half.

The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Geralt Wilk was the one to do the kick off. Korneliusz Flis hit a great freekick 55 minutes into the match. When Geralt Wilk came up free with the goalie in the 58th minute, the Mitschullen SSA fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Geralt Wilk couldn't finish the play. Zoltán Hubina fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 59th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Dobromir Mielak having to interfere. 62 minutes into the match, Mitschullen SSA's Geralt Wilk sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Danail Mitzakov narrowly saved just below the crossbar. When Geralt Wilk fell near the penalty area in the 64th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Mitschullen SSA's protests and gave Geralt Wilk a yellow card for diving instead. In the 64th minute, Geralt Wilk hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. An unexpectedly hard shot by Zoltán Hubina in the 66th minute of play forced Mitschullen SSA's goalkeeper Dobromir Mielak to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Geralt Wilk recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 80th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Korneliusz Flis made in the 82nd minute of the game a throw-in that took a bad bounce and was taken care of by Mitschullen SSA's Hieronim Sobania. Maritza's Danail Mitzakov proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 88th minute of the match, managed to save Maritza from getting a goal against them. In the 92nd minute, Barnaba Czapski hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Mitschullen SSA made a substitution. Arkadiusz Traczewski replaced Geralt Wilk. The supporters of Maritza booed when Mitschullen SSA was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 93 match minutes in a wonderful position. Barnaba Czapski didn't get a good kick on the ball. Danail Mitzakov showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Bartlomiej Kisielka, who was totally free with the ball in the 96th minute. Dobromir Mielak made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Zoltán Hubina in the 97th minute of play.
