After 3 played minutes Mamutes EC got a freekick which was hit by Jailson dos Santos. In the 4thth minute of the game Udo Nördershäuser who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Mamutes EC's Nilson Paranaense was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. Klemens Mehnert had great luck who in the 6thth minute grab hold of the ball when Bola Forte from a short distance tried to put the ball inside the right post. Klemens Mehnert showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Bola Forte in the 9th minute of the match. Nilson Paranaense made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Eugen Prinzing in the 11th minute of play. Bola Forte in the 20thth minute had a little luck and got a chance for a shot in front of the goal. Without hesitation aimed to the right of Klemens Mehnert, who managed to lunge to the right direction and made a save. An unexpectedly hard shot by Udo Nördershäuser in the 21st minute of play forced Mamutes EC's goalkeeper Nilson Paranaense to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. 23 minutes into the match, Großberghofen's goal looked a bit too open when Simão de Lara came free, but Klemens Mehnert reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. After a rather tough play, Großberghofen's Rainer Schriever got a free kick in the 32nd minute. After a defensive mix-up in Großberghofen's zone, Bola Forte stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Klemens Mehnert came out of the goal and Bola Forte tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. An unexpectedly hard shot by Simão de Lara in the 35th minute of play forced Großberghofen's goalkeeper Klemens Mehnert to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Eugen Prinzing charged in rather forcefully in the 35th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Eugen Prinzing the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. In the 36th match minute, Großberghofen was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Eugen Prinzing to maneuver through the defense. When Bola Forte came up free with the goalie in the 36th minute, the Mamutes EC fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Bola Forte couldn't finish the play. Simão de Lara sent away a hard shot on goal in the 38th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Klemens Mehnert took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Simão de Lara, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Luck had favoured the away team in the first, and they walked off with a 0-1 lead.
The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Bola Forte was the one to do the kick off. 51 minutes into the match, Mamutes EC's goal looked a bit too open when Eugen Prinzing came free, but Nilson Paranaense reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. When the match clock showed 53 minutes, the score became 1-1 when Bola Forte sped through Großberghofen's defense and sent away a curving shot that went into the net to the right of Klemens Mehnert. Pedrinho Loureiro received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 60th minute. Klemens Mehnert tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. In the 63rd minute, Großberghofen's Arne Mostert ran free of his marker and smoothly shot the ball into the goal behind Nilson Paranaense. Nilson Paranaense yelled at his defense, as they had left him out to dry. 1-2. Cido Cosme was astounded when the referee showed him the red card after a seemingly innocent challenge, 70 minutes into the match. In the 71st match minute, Mamutes EC was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Cido Cosme to maneuver through the defense. Matheus Alcântara sent away a hard shot on goal in the 74th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. 76 minutes into the match, Großberghofen's goal looked a bit too open when Matheus Alcântara came free, but Klemens Mehnert reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Mamutes EC's Nilson Paranaense proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 81st minute of the match, managed to save Mamutes EC from getting a goal against them. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Simão de Lara in the 86th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Klemens Mehnert prevented the ball from getting in the gole. After some fancy dribbling in the 87th minute, Matheus Alcântara managed to get in a good position for a shot. Mamutes EC's supporters rose to their feet, but Matheus Alcântara was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Klemens Mehnert breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick.
The referee blew the final whistle, and the away crowd roared, having watched Großberghofen eke out a victory against a very well matched opponent.
