An unexpectedly hard shot by Cumhur Tanacan in the 19th minute of play forced Gold Team Bełchatów's goalkeeper Dariusz Kochanowicz to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. When the final whistle went the supporters of Clapham Comets F.C. were delighted that their team had defeated the much more dominant Gold Team Bełchatów side.
