After a defensive mix-up in Magallanes's zone, Tolek Gregorczyk stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Silvio Lastarria came out of the goal and Tolek Gregorczyk tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Silvio Lastarria made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Izydor Walec in the 10th minute of play. Silvio Lastarria showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Tolek Gregorczyk in the 12th minute of the match. If Tolek Gregorczyk had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 13th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. In the 17th match minute, Magallanes was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Soriano Matamala to maneuver through the defense. An unexpectedly hard shot by Cezary Filanowski in the 18th minute of play forced Magallanes's goalkeeper Silvio Lastarria to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. When Antonio Mackenzie fell near the penalty area in the 24th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Magallanes's protests and gave Antonio Mackenzie a yellow card for diving instead. Antonio Mackenzie hit a great freekick 25 minutes into the match. The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Radomir Budzyn stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. 57 minutes into the game, Brian Izaga was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Magallanes's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Działki Leśne Gdynia the free kick. A collision led to Magallanes getting a freekick after 57 minutes play. With a little luck, Magallanes's Silvio Lastarria got control of the ball when Tolek Gregorczyk tried to sneak it across the goal line. An unexpectedly hard shot by Izydor Walec in the 91st minute of play forced Magallanes's goalkeeper Silvio Lastarria to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. In the 92nd minute, Leopoldo Jacinto Herboso got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. Neither set of supporters seemed pleased with the draw, but both teams had played equally well today.
