The crowd had been anticipating this game for weeks and the excitement in the stadium was easily visible. In the 17th minute Alfredo Bemabe shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Eilert Østmo saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. In the 21st minute, Bertel Furre made a precise shot to the right of Mario Brion. Suipacha FC's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 0-1. Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Leonardo Arce to make the kick off. 51 minutes into the match, Suipacha FC's goalkeeper Mario Brion had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Bertel Furre. After 52 minutes Suipacha FC's defender was forced to head the ball over the line for a corner. It was Johan Malmedal who took care of the corner kick. Bertel Furre blasted a shot towards the goal in the 55th minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Mario Brion having to make a save. In the 57th match minute, Untte BK was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Hans-Kristian Ås to maneuver through the defense. Eilert Østmo was left in no man's land by his defense there! 86 minutes into the match, Pascual Rocendo had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Eilert Østmo. Untte BK's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Pascual Rocendo was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 6-1. 90 minutes into the match, Untte BK's goal looked a bit too open when Angelino Hegoi came free, but Eilert Østmo reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Eilert Østmo made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Carlos Markel in the 93rd minute of play. The referee blew his whistle, and the match came to a close. The players exchanged shirts and headed down the tunnel. The Suipacha FC fans cheered their team off the field, for while Untte BK had put up a good fight, they were unable to come out of the game with any points to show for their effort.
