The crowd rose to their feet as Várdomb's Sándor Szilágyi slotted home a wonderful shot that went in to the left of Edelmiro Ticho. That made the score 1-0 after 3 minutes of play. Almeyra F.C. were furious when Urbano Bero was red carded, 6 minutes into the game, but the referee dismissed their protests. Sándor Szilágyi did an outstanding performance 9 minutes into the match, when he by himself got past the opposing team's defense and with a quick scored 2-0 to the right of an irritated Edelmiro Ticho in the goal. Pastor Bela recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 12th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. After a rather tough play, Almeyra F.C.'s Leonardo Paublo got a free kick in the 18th minute. Edelmiro Ticho made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Márton Zádori in the 19th minute of play. Várdomb were awarded a corner in the 20th minute after Almeyra F.C.'s defender lost control of the ball, allowing it to roll out over the line. Sándor Szilágyi took the corner. Juste Gilmore made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Esteban Laurentzi in the 26th minute of play. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Esteban Laurentzi in the 27th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Juste Gilmore prevented the ball from getting in the gole. An unexpectedly hard shot by Esteban Laurentzi in the 30th minute of play forced Várdomb's goalkeeper Juste Gilmore to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Edelmiro Ticho showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Kálmán Horváth, who was totally free with the ball in the 33rd minute. When Sándor Szilágyi came up free with the goalie in the 42nd minute, the Várdomb fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Sándor Szilágyi couldn't finish the play. Edelmiro Ticho made a fantastic save in the 44th minute, when Sándor Szilágyi sent off a good shot on target. The Almeyra F.C. fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Edelmiro Ticho should have stopped the shot. Várdomb made a substitution. Henrik Gyarmati replaced Bertold Csonka. Almeyra F.C.'s Edelmiro Ticho played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Kálmán Horváth in the 95th minute of play. There was no doubt that Várdomb were the better team. Várdomb's players enjoyed the ovations of the crowd after the victory.
