Orlando Cordarell hit a great freekick 6 minutes into the match. 7 minutes into the match, Club Atlético Temperley's goal looked a bit too open when Mateo Transito came free, but Ioan Voicu reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Azulgranas AFC were awarded a corner in the 8th minute after Club Atlético Temperley's defender lost control of the ball, allowing it to roll out over the line. Radomir Naskrent took the corner. The corner led to Azulgranas AFC's Higinio Berenguer getting away a dangerous shot that went just outside the goal. Club Atlético Temperley's Ioan Voicu played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Michaël Myers in the 10th minute of play. In the 11th minute, Lino Lizbeth hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Ioan Voicu made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Radomir Naskrent in the 12th minute of play. Ioan Voicu took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Juan Manuel Cruz, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Ioan Voicu didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Mateo Transito went, in the 14th minute, to the upper right corner, 0-1 was the resulting score. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Michaël Myers in the 17th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Ioan Voicu saved Club Atlético Temperley from getting behind. In the 19th minute Mateo Transito shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Ioan Voicu saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Leo Henric showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Cristiano Correia, who was totally free with the ball in the 21st minute. A collision led to Club Atlético Temperley getting a freekick after 23 minutes play. Orlando Cordarell hit a great ball. The Azulgranas AFC supporters could be heard counting down the last seconds of the match. They errupted in celebration when the whistle blew, knowing Azulgranas AFC would go home with victory in their luggage after a match that easily could have ended differently.
