The crowd had been anticipating this game for weeks and the excitement in the stadium was easily visible. Inocencio Lorien recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 39th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Kristoffer Ek in the 41st managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Sakarias Berggren saved Burriss from getting behind. After 41 minutes, Kristoffer Ek made it 0-1 with a short kick to the right side. Burriss's Sakarias Berggren tried to save the shot but he was too slow in reacting to the shot. Sakarias Berggren showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Inocencio Lorien in the 46th minute of the match. Luck had favoured the away team in the first, and they walked off with a 0-1 lead.

The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for Inocencio Lorien to strike the kick off in the second half. After having played for 96 minutes, Friday Sobota managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Burriss's supporters crossed their fingers, but Friday Sobota was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. The referee blew the final whistle, and the away crowd roared, having watched NovaStella FK eke out a victory against a very well matched opponent.
