The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. 9 minutes into the game, Club Atlético Timișoara's Valer Deliman nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Răzvan Isărescu made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 0-1. After 11 played minutes Simared -MM- got a freekick which was hit by Tiberiu Huștea. After 14 played minutes Club Atlético Timișoara got a freekick which was hit by Filip Dersidan. Augustin Săvulescu struck a weak shot in the 15th minute. Albert Bratiloveanu didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Simared -MM-. Matei Humă received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 29th minute. Albert Bratiloveanu tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. After some fancy dribbling in the 31st minute, Valer Deliman managed to get in a good position for a shot. Club Atlético Timișoara's supporters rose to their feet, but Valer Deliman was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Răzvan Isărescu breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. In the 33rd minute of the match Aristide Ispirescu sent off a long shot with destination to the right of the goalkeeper, but Răzvan Isărescu skillfully saved the ball. 35 minutes into the game, one of Club Atlético Timișoara:s players got tackled near the goal, and the referee blew for a penalty. The referee gave Simared -MM- a penalty, 38 minutes into the game. The penalty shot was made by Augustin Săvulescu, who made a well placed shot into the net to the right of Club Atlético Timișoara's Albert Bratiloveanu. 1-1. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Valer Deliman in the 44th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Răzvan Isărescu saved Simared -MM- from getting behind. The score stood at 1-1 when the half time whistle went. Both sets of players seemed reasonably pleased with how the match was going.

Simared -MM- made a substitution. Manole Izvoranu replaced Augustin Săvulescu. After 53 played minutes Simared -MM- got a freekick which was hit by Manole Izvoranu. Răzvan Isărescu made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Aristide Ispirescu in the 60th minute of play. Răzvan Isărescu came out of the goal in the 60th minute to try and stop a shot by Club Atlético Timișoara's Aristide Ispirescu. But to his dismay, Aristide Ispirescu quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 1-2. Club Atlético Timișoara's Albert Bratiloveanu played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Cazimir Curteanu in the 65th minute of play. Aristide Ispirescu struck a weak shot in the 68th minute. Răzvan Isărescu didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Club Atlético Timișoara. Simared -MM- made a substitution. Viorel Lucan replaced Matei Humă. After 72 played minutes Club Atlético Timișoara got a freekick which was hit by Valer Deliman. Aristide Ispirescu's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Răzvan Isărescu read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 75th minute of play. An unexpectedly hard shot by Aristide Ispirescu in the 77th minute of play forced Simared -MM-'s goalkeeper Răzvan Isărescu to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. After 77 played minutes Simared -MM- got a freekick which was hit by Eric Arghirescu. Valer Deliman took the ball and in the 78 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Răzvan Isărescu. Răzvan Isărescu dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 1-3. Club Atlético Timișoara's Valer Deliman got a good chance for a goal in the 83rd minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Aristide Ispirescu fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 91st minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Răzvan Isărescu having to interfere. In the 93rd minute, Club Atlético Timișoara's Manuel Vulpescu dribbled the ball into the box and hit a shot with the outside of his foot, sending the keeper the wrong way. 1-4. When the final whistle was heard the away supporters stood up and showed their joy. Club Atlético Timișoara had managed to secure a win in what was a close match throughout.
