Hans Nordnes was out of position in the 3 minute of play, and Alvaro Dantel capitalized on the mistake with a soft shot into the goal. Alvaro Dantel really showed his touch with that goal: 1-0. Leonel Senen's late challenge caught a Untte BK's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Leonel Senen helped the player get up and apologised. In the 8th match minute, Gaita´s club was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Ermegildo Gaueko to maneuver through the defense. In the 10th match minute, Untte BK was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Thomas Reppen to maneuver through the defense. In the 11th minute of the match Victoriano Koldobika sent off a long shot with destination to the right of the goalkeeper, but Hans Nordnes skillfully saved the ball. When Halvor Selstad came up free with the goalie in the 15th minute, the Untte BK fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Halvor Selstad couldn't finish the play. In the 26th minute Victoriano Koldobika shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Hans Nordnes saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. In the 28th minute, Anders Fjeldberg made a precise shot to the right of Fernando Jaen. Gaita´s club's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 1-1. Fernando Jaen made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Anders Fjeldberg in the 33rd minute of play. When Leonel Senen was, once again, overly rough in his play he received his second yellow card and was ordered off the ground. 38 minutes had been played. After 38 played minutes Gaita´s club got a freekick which was hit by Leonel Senen. In the 42nd minute Halvor Selstad shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Fernando Jaen saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. After a very even first half the match was still tied. The players went to their respective dressing rooms to discuss the tactics for the second half.

Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Alvaro Dantel to make the kick off. 52 minutes into the game, Juan Bertran was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Gaita´s club's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Untte BK the free kick. After a rather tough play, Gaita´s club's Juan Bertran got a free kick in the 52nd minute. Fernando Jaen showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Thomas Reppen in the 54th minute of the match. The audience thought a goal was coming when Anders Fjeldberg got free with Fernando Jaen in the 56th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. When the match had gone on for 57 minutes, Tor-Magnus Skjelstad put it in 1-2 from a short distance just to the right of Fernando Jaen. Benigno Roland hit a great freekick 64 minutes into the match. Edvin Grønlie could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 67th minute of the match, but Fernando Jaen made a huge save. After some careless play in the Gaita´s club defense, Anders Fjeldberg kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Fernando Jaen. The Gaita´s club fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Fernando Jaen should have stopped the shot. Halvor Selstad sent away a hard shot on goal in the 72nd minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Hans Nordnes showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Alvaro Dantel in the 74th minute of the match. In the 75th minute Gjermund Winger shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Fernando Jaen saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. In the 76th minute, Victoriano Koldobika hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. After some careless play in the Gaita´s club defense, Tor-Magnus Skjelstad kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Fernando Jaen. The Gaita´s club fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Fernando Jaen should have stopped the shot. 88 minutes into the game, Untte BK's Edvin Grønlie nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Fernando Jaen made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 1-5. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Alvaro Dantel in the 93rd managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Hans Nordnes saved Untte BK from getting behind. The Gaita´s club fans had already started to leave before the final whistle blew. Untte BK were clearly better and deserved to take the win.
