Spectators: 36 (Terracing: 28, Seating: 8, VIP seats: 0) Dark clouds were building up when the players entered the field. None of the them looked very eager to play. Osvaldo Nascimento started the match with the kick off. 7 minutes into the match, Cachaça FC's goalkeeper Ernesto de Godoi had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Aristide Ispirescu. Thanks to some nice moves Alexandru Maia could shoot a difficult shot in the 11th minute, which Ernesto de Godoi however easily saved by the left post. After a rather tough play, Cachaça FC's Luís Fernando Vaz got a free kick in the 13th minute. 15 minutes into the match, Aristide Ispirescu notched a goal, 1-0, to the right of Cachaça FC's Ernesto de Godoi. Ernesto de Godoi was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. When Osvaldo Nascimento came up free with the goalie in the 19th minute, the Cachaça FC fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Osvaldo Nascimento couldn't finish the play. Alexandru Maia's shot when he came free in front of the goal in the 25thth minute, Ernesto de Godoi skillfully showed off with a save to what seemed to be an obvious goal. When Perivaldo Castro fell near the penalty area in the 28th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Cachaça FC's protests and gave Perivaldo Castro a yellow card for diving instead. The supporters of Club Atlético Timișoara booed when Cachaça FC was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 28 match minutes in a wonderful position. Perivaldo Castro didn't get a good kick on the ball. 29 minutes into the match, Cachaça FC's goal looked a bit too open when Alexandru Maia came free, but Ernesto de Godoi reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Ernesto de Godoi made a fantastic save in the 32nd minute, when Alexandru Maia sent off a good shot on target. Albert Bratiloveanu showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Osvaldo Nascimento in the 37th minute of the match. Valer Deliman did some fancy footwork in front of goal and succeeded to deceive the defenders so he could slam the ball in 3-0 to the left of a surprised Ernesto de Godoi 38 minutes into the match. If Osvaldo Nascimento had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 43rd minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. After 44 played minutes Club Atlético Timișoara got a freekick which was hit by Gabriel Răchitan.

When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Aristide Ispirescu made a kick off. Club Atlético Timișoara's Albert Bratiloveanu proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 55th minute of the match, managed to save Club Atlético Timișoara from getting a goal against them. Luisão Pimenta received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 58th minute. Albert Bratiloveanu tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. In the 67th minute, Cachaça FC's Osvaldo Nascimento dribbled the ball into the box and hit a shot with the outside of his foot, sending the keeper the wrong way. 3-2. In the 70th minute, Bruninho Abreu hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Aristide Ispirescu recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 80th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. If Luisão Pimenta had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 82nd minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. In the 84th minute, Aristide Ispirescu ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Ernesto de Godoi was frozen by the shot and now it was 4-2. In the 88thth minute of the game Osvaldo Nascimento who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Club Atlético Timișoara's Albert Bratiloveanu was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. Cachaça FC were awarded a corner in the 89th minute after Club Atlético Timișoara's defender lost control of the ball, allowing it to roll out over the line. Luisão Pimenta took the corner. The corner went over the outstretched arms of Club Atlético Timișoara's goalie and right to Osvaldo Nascimento. He fired away a shot at goal, but the shot had too much spin, and it went just outside the goal. Club Atlético Timișoara's manager breathed a sigh of relief on the sidelines as his team had managed to escape an almost certain goal. Aristide Ispirescu kicked well hit freekick during the 91st minute of the match. 95 minutes into the game, Osvaldinho Fernandes recieved a splendid long ball, split the defenders, and gently placed the ball to the left of Albert Bratiloveanu. Osvaldinho Fernandes showed that you don't have to tear a hole in the net to score, 4-3. The referee blew his whistle, and the match came to a close. The players exchanged shirts and headed down the tunnel. The Club Atlético Timișoara fans cheered their team off the field, for while Cachaça FC had put up a good fight, they were unable to come out of the game with any points to show for their effort.
