In the 5th match minute, GoooooL was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Eugen Mănescu to maneuver through the defense. The supporters of GoooooL booed when Club Atlético Timișoara was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 6 match minutes in a wonderful position. Manuel Vulpescu didn't get a good kick on the ball. In the 11th minute Aristide Ispirescu shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Gavril Nicea saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Gavril Nicea showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Alexandru Maia, who was totally free with the ball in the 12th minute. After some fancy dribbling in the 14th minute, Aristide Ispirescu managed to get in a good position for a shot. Club Atlético Timișoara's supporters rose to their feet, but Aristide Ispirescu was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Gavril Nicea breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. In the 16th minute, Emanuel Pășcuțoiu hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. A collision led to Club Atlético Timișoara getting a freekick after 18 minutes play. Manuel Vulpescu hit a great ball. 20 minutes into the match, Club Atlético Timișoara's goal looked a bit too open when Emanuel Pășcuțoiu came free, but Albert Bratiloveanu reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Gavril Nicea made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Alexandru Maia in the 21st minute of play. The audience was convinced that Alexandru Maia's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Gavril Nicea was relentless in the 24th minute of the game. Valer Deliman took the ball and in the 25 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Gavril Nicea. Gavril Nicea dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 0-1. A collision led to GoooooL getting a freekick after 30 minutes play. Aron Dobrea hit a great ball. Dinu Corlățean took a chance and fired a shot far from the goal in the 31st minute, but it turned out to be a dangerous situation for Gavril Nicea. GoooooL's goalkeeper really had to stretch himself to stop the ball from crossing the goal line. Gavril Nicea took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Alexandru Maia, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. 38 minutes into the match, GoooooL's goal looked a bit too open when Alexandru Maia came free, but Gavril Nicea reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. After 38 minutes, Nae Hanganu mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the GoooooL and the Club Atlético Timișoara players grew even worse after the yellow card. In the 41st match minute, GoooooL was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Aron Dobrea to maneuver through the defense. In the 42nd minute of the match Manuel Vulpescu shot from a long distance. The ball could have gone into the goal to the right of the goalkeeper, but Gavril Nicea showed his good shape when he easily got hold of the ball. Gavril Nicea showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Valer Deliman in the 43rd minute of the match. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Manuel Vulpescu during the 44th minute. The player immediately received a yellow card.

Club Atlético Timișoara's Albert Bratiloveanu played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Aron Dobrea in the 51st minute of play. Albert Bratiloveanu came out of the goal in the 54th minute to try and stop a shot by GoooooL's Aron Dobrea. But to his dismay, Aron Dobrea quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 1-1. Gavril Nicea took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Aristide Ispirescu, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. GoooooL's Gavril Nicea proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 62nd minute of the match, managed to save GoooooL from getting a goal against them. 64 minutes into the game, Alexandru Maia recieved a splendid long ball, split the defenders, and gently placed the ball to the left of Gavril Nicea. Alexandru Maia showed that you don't have to tear a hole in the net to score, 1-2. Club Atlético Timișoara's attacker deliberately struck the ball against an opponent to win a corner for his team. The corner was taken by Aristide Ispirescu in the 71st minute. An unexpectedly hard shot by Emanuel Pășcuțoiu in the 75th minute of play forced Club Atlético Timișoara's goalkeeper Albert Bratiloveanu to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. GoooooL's Gavril Nicea played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Aristide Ispirescu in the 85th minute of play. Club Atlético Timișoara's players went to the stands to thank the travelling support. The fan's backing had helped spurr the team on to a fine performance that won them the match.
